Finally this WC is over. Give me back CL.

Welcome to the 4 stars club Deutschland!

Bye bye Argentina, I won't cry for you.

Choke on it Maradona

Higuain at the end had the same face he had for a whole year in Napoli.

LOL at both Palacio and Higuain missing those goals.

And CONCACAF please, hail your PAL lords.

Nuer the one who kept them in the World Cup in many games will be 32, for gk doesnt matter too much but still 32 is a declining age for many footballers

Khedira will be 31 and though not in final he was instrumental in previous games

Schweinsteiger will be 33

Klose will be 40

Lahm will be 34

The team will still be good with these under 30
Players but nowhere near good with older players like above

Muller
Kroos
Hummels
Ozil

Most of these players know each other's plays through playing last World Cup too so i dont think Russia will be their year

Same as
Argentina who will
Fare even worse

Congratulations Germans! you deserved it! great great world cup. Being brazilian, it was great to see how the nations reacted here, now let's see 2018 who will be champions. France could've advanced more if they didn't confront germany in the quarter-finals.

Who do you guys think will be the great teams of 2018?
I hope it's not gonna be favorites only in 2018 (like this time in the half finals)

Winning WC in Brazil, beating Brazil 7:1 will never be topped BUT Germany has some great talents coming through. Germany won U-21 Euro in 2009.
Yep, this is the scariest part:
There is Götze, Reus, Volland, Draxler, Müller, etc. etc. etc.
The youth is coming. Germany will be a mega-force in the next 10 years and beyond.

Marc Andre ter Stegen is only 22 and he'll start for Barcelona next year.

They'll make it to the semis at least.

They always do.

Germany already is a mega-force
They got one 2nd place, two 3rd place and this 1st in the last 4 WC

I wouldn't say that. Messi will be 30/31 next cup and there's a lot of good, young talent on Argentina. The real problem is our coaching situation. I'm expecting Iturbe to light it up the next few years

From the Belgium side.

Origi will be 24
Lukaku will be 25
Courtois will be 26
Hazard will be 27
De Bruyne will be 27
Mirallas will be 30
Kompany will be 32
Vermaelen will be 32

Etc. Etc.

Everyone from Belgium is in the next World Cup except Van Buyten.

I already had this conversation a second ago, but Germany is building a dynasty with their youth system. Müller, Hummerls, Özil, Kroos, Götze, Schürrle, Boateng, and Höwedes will all be in their primes. Plus Draxler and Volland will be developed, as well as Kramer, Mustafi, and most of the players in the team, let alone any new guys we are getting. I also think Neuer will still be clutch at 32, since Goalkeepers last longer than most players at older ages.

You and anyone else can say that my team is fucked now, but really our best players are only getting started now, they just got good early. We have a ton of talent still, the Golden Generation isn't near over yet. Not saying we will win, but we will still have a chance next World Cup.

Edit: I also forgot Reus, the Benders, Badstuber, Gundogan, and so many more that weren't even there tonight that will all be in their primes next tournament.

The difference between Germany and some other countries is we don't have a "golden generation". We have a constantly decent team (check the world cup history). Sometimes better, sometimes worse true. But ther's always good players coming through and especialy after the changes to youth football that have vbeen made after Euro 2000/2004 humiliations.

It's statistically unlikely that we will repeat the win in 2018 but we will have a good team. That i'm certain of. A good mix between experienced playeds and new players. Hell Reus, who is probably our best player and wasn't even present at the world cup due to injury will be 29.

He's at Monaco with Falcao, dude.

Big clubs will try, but Monaco's not gonna let them go as they're still trying to get more superstars.

Monaco can't just buy and buy with the new financial fair play rules. It might be good to sell him (way over price tho) so they can then buy 2-3 good players.

It's rumored Monaco is asking Madrid 85m euros for him, which is insane but Madrid did pay 100+ for Bale lol, and they are selling Di Maria for 60m.

So I think this move is very likely.

I don't know about you guys but I gotta get to Euro 2016 if only for one game. Superior UEFA football, good city in Paris, good country in France, lots of quality competition, good atmosphere.

Has to be done.

Yeah that's what I thought too.

Rodriguez is cool and all, but Falcao is the Striker being supported by Fake Ronaldo and Bale.

Benzema doesn't cut it anymore.

The Falcao deal fell through, since it looks like Benz is going to renew his contract. Madrid is going all in for James now, otherwise they would not be selling di Maria.

Colombia 5th. So proud.

Copa America is going to be soo good next year.

The 2015 Copa America will be incredible

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Equador, Uruguay and maybe Paraguay. All of them with real chances to win the cup

And next year will begin the WC 2018 qualification too

Are there numbers on how much each club needs to make up?

I'm so happy that we won! :D I admit I'm not a big football fan but every two years I root for the Euros and the World Cups and the older I get the more I like it!

To be honest I'm such a mixed bag of emotions right now and I don't know why... Of course I'm happy but for some reason also sad that everything is over now, I got so used to watching football the past four weeks... :( I know there's club football and all but for some reason I could never warm up to that :/

on FFP?

I think it's based on how much income a club generates, and I think they can go over that but not by much. The rules are in place so oil rich billionaires don't come in, buy a shit club and fill it with stars even if they bleed 200m a year.

Copa America in 2015 and 2016. Not doubt a few invitees will be present.

Club football is superior :)
Fans are alot more attached to their clubs, the international matches have alot more quality and you've get your dose on a regular level :D
