Big props to Bonchan, he was fighting a uphill battle. He had to deal with Rose having Super or Ultra 2(twice many times) every single round. I thought he had a chance, but Louffy also clutched out so many rounds throughout the set. Sometimes they were lucky guesses, but he still got it right.

I think he should have played a little crazy in that first set just to try to throw Louffy off and make some things happen.

You literally can't win the fireball war, meter war, damage war(super), or mid screen game.

USF4, Smash U, KI, & UMvC3 are safe bets. I'm not sure if MKX or Tekken 7 will be ready for next year (more so the former, as Injustice is kinda on its last legs hype-wise). Not to mention the war between P4AU & GGXrd for the anime spot at EVO (unless both are deemed worthy to both be there based on the hype behind both), but my gut tells me that Xrd is gonna win out.

I'd cry too if something that started more than a decade ago not only still exists, but has continued to grow, and the love that the community has for the event and each other has also grown. EVO is the best competitive event of the year, its unmatched for a lot of people. People love to talk shit about how EVO is run, but everyone involved, from stream monsters to competitors, loves it.

Sucks we have to wait a year before the next EVO.

Because Rose isn't a common matchup and the amount of players that play anywhere near the level of Louffy is like....2. Louffy and maybe Filipino Man.

Even Filipino Man isn't on Luffy's level. Luffy played her since literally vanilla day one and invented and perfected the character. Any other Rose would get man handled in top 8.

Yeah, I'm expecting Xrd there. MKX should make the cut, IIRC MK9 was a late release(april?) and still made it in.

Smash will be the most interesting. I'm sure it'll be the one that gets pushed, but I am really curious to see the fan feedback for it.

The top Fei's were character loyalists.

100% chance that if Fei was nerfed to Mid tier or lower players like Fuudo, Mago and Gackt would switch in a heart beat. As soon as there was some smell of Fei Long nerfs Mago was playing around with other characters (but then went back to Fei because he was still top tier).

Mago used to play Sagat and Fuudo used to play Ryu. Not exactly character loyalists, they have just had the most success with Fei.
