If it's good it will be an amazing collab of the best of RE7 and RE4 Remake.

If it's bad it will feel like a middling RE Village mixed with RE6 Leon levels.

Should have been 2 separate campaigns. I think it will hinder the pacing. I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Yeah, effect on pacing is my biggest concern for sure.

Capcom looks very very carefully at Metacritic scores and its well known that they've been trying to bring their numbered titles to the same critical acclaim that the Re2 and RE4 remake got.

My theory is that it's the root cause of this game also having a third person mode. They're trying to please both sides of the RE fanbase. Now usually, that's NOT a good sign.

And if it feels like a 'Please like us' fan service game, I expect it to get a more predictable 84-88. But here's hoping they knock it out of the park and get a 90+.

I have a feeling for me it'll be a 7.
