Yuck. Lucina is such a waste of a slot. She's about as cloney as clones get. She even looks almost exactly like Marth. Don't know who Robin is, but his fighting style seems way more interesting.

Could be two or three people with incomplete information.
Very curious also. I still hope for Shulk and Chorus Men.
The leaker clearly knows something, to say he is completely without credibility just from tonight's announcement would be ignoring the impossible correct calls previously made.
A spanner has definitively been put in the works though. I hope we get a response.

I doubt this, because I get the feeling Shulk was going to be revealed but was switched with Robin at the last minute. Apparently a bunch of Monolith Soft people were hyping up the trailer, which doesn't make sense looking back now.

His name in Japan is Robin...but Fire Emblem Robin is called Reflet/Rufure in Japan. Is there still a chance Sakurai???.

Anna would have been amazing, but I will gladly take Robin. Anyone that isn't primarily a swordfighter is a good addition (even if Robin still has his sword...). I love Robin's generic design.
Lucina seems to have been thrown in as a Marth clone purely as fanservice. I don't mind it.

She's the new Roy, it looks like.
Fire Emblem is one of the best selling game on the 3DS and a big franchise since Melee that is the game that brought Fire Emblem here.
Metroid is a pretty small franchise compared to it in term of fans. I'm even more surprised that there is 2 Mother characters in a serie with three games and where only one got in the west. Maybe a Mother Collection inbound with the Mother 3 joke from E3?

Last I heard, Xenoblade was a cult classic in Japan as well. I'm fairly confident that a character from Xenoblade or its sequel will make it in.

"Lucina takes a slot from another character." The entire roster is one of the first things set in stone for the game.
"Shulk's chances have decreased dramatically." No they haven't.

Captain Falcon reveal today! Called it!!!!! (sort of!) Hyped! Although another recycled Final Smash, no matter how franchise-appropriate, is slightly anti-hype. It's a new game - recycled move sets I understand, but don't we deserve at least a new super-duper move to differentiate from the last game?
