Actually that one would have been a foul, penalty, and red card if he touched Klose because he sticks his leg out just to catch him.
(although Romero only stuck his leg out because he wasn't going to touch Klose, I doubt he was actually trying to kick him)
Oh boy. That logic is absurd
This is ridiculous. Look where the challenge happened, hint: in the edge of the area. Close to being a handball by Neuer even. Higuain is looking at the ball the whole time and Neuer blindsides him. Arguing that it was somewhat a foul by Higuain and that it was his fault is the most absurd stretch. He didn't "walk under Neuer and took out his legs" at any time. Look at the video ffs.
The ref made the wrong call. It should've been a throw-in. It was a reckless challenge, but that was it.
I apologize for my Bratwurst joke then. I thought that the picture I was commenting on wasn't serious and more about funny stereotypes.
Where are cryteck and Opel?
Neuer got the ball first, Higuain didn't, simple as that. If it was the other way round, Neuer would have been sent off.
How do you eat this?

- Argentina was held together by Mascherano, not Messi, which was almost a non-presence during this WC while his team mate organized the defenseby himself on a truthly impressive and, unfortunately, underrated way
Which is why it wasn't a foul by anyone, least of all the forward. As simple as that.

Are the rewriters of history already hard at work trying to say Higuain's goal wasn't offside and that Neuer fouled Higuain?
Take a vacation first guys.

Better song choice than the BBC that's for sure.
So according to that logic, Klose could have just run into Romero while Romero's in the air like that and it would be a penalty? That isn't how it works.
Coldplay? Seriously? I didn't really like BBC's choice of song either... but Coldplay, for a Brazilian WC montage... I don't even... ewwwww

Yes I like Coldplay. A song about sky full of stars seems fitting for the 4th star Germany got.
Those still thinking that Neuer's challenge was a foul, just have a look if you can find any Argentinians arguing strongly for a penalty. There was hardly any protest, so even they know that wasn't a foul by Neuer, if anything, it was a foul by Higuain as he walked under Neuer and took out his legs.
Players are supposed to get out of the way of the GK in those situations, as the GK will get that ball every time, the only possible result from going in there are potential injuries for both sides.
Romero does it even more extreme in this situation, but Klose does the correct thing and goes out of Romero's way:

It just really doesn't capture the atmosphere or feel of the tournament for me at all.
Each to their own I guess.

Well I'm not saying that it is the perfect song to capture the feel of the whole tournament but it's a catchy song and I like it.
I actually liked the BBC montage more that they did after the Brazil-Germany match. Unfortunately that seems to be taken down on youtube.
It still actually didn't happen. A european country can't win in South-America.
Nah, the Germans got the curse lifted.

We definitely didn't choke. With the players we had we made an remarkable achievement. No one thought we'd get this far. It's what makes the loss way more easy to bare.

Holland did fine. Flying out in pens happens.
Enjoyable video by a Colombian guy hanging out at fan gatherings on Brazil during the WC

Neat montage. That flying goal by van Persie really was one of the best of this WC.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ex1giS7ezc

I see Rihanna got klose to that trophy.
Not being biased but if Rodriquez his goal wins over Van Persie's it is definitely wrong. His goal was great but has been shown before. Van Persie's goal? I have not seen anything like that thus far.
I agree. They were both great but Van Persie's was special.
Tell us about it.
Anybody know when and where the germans will recieve and celebrate their national team? Im not german, but id like to watch it. Maybe some german channel will have an online stream? If so, id really appreciate if somebody could link it!
