I don't personally love Dark Pit or anything, but in the event that there are more clones, Dark Pit is definitely among the more likely options for the reasons I brought up. The ending of Palutena's trailer makes a lot more sense to me following today's new info.

I'm not fond of the movement towards a more anime art style in Metroid in general. If you look at Super Metroid's aesthetics and compare them to Zero Mission's, it feels like something was lost by making them so cartoony.

Other M you could make a case for, but I honestly think Fusion and Zero Mission did a really good job at merging the western comic-book aesthetic, the eastern elements and the out-of-this-world Alien feel.

It seems like the character has an inherit system that gimps them like losing one of the Ice Climbers.

Maybe not a permanent gimp though, maybe it has some cooldown time and then they can summon another tome.

Nosferatu healing percent would be the greatest shit depending on the conversion rate, hahahaha.

I really wonder how the tome stuff works, though. I'm assuming that less powerful tomes have more uses than more powerful tomes like Thoron or Elfire? How are you gonna switch between them? A taunt?

As I'm sure most of ya know, the leaker e-mailed me last night teasing Shulk.

He also e-mailed me again this morning saying Nintendo keeps a lot secret from Bandai Namco, and that Sakurai may change his mind as he does all the time, but that Shulk was 100%.

A quote: "I only know what has been done, not what or when they will be made available. Sakurai may change his mind, and he does all the time. Shulk will not be changed."

I've e-mailed him about the lack of Shulk, as well as the whole Chrom being a Final Smash thing. I'll update if I get a response.

He wouldn't elaborate on exactly what those customization are, saying only that they won't be costumes and they won't be something that players have to unlock through repetitive tasks. Different costumes, he said, would take away from what makes each character unique. He also wanted to avoid boring, repetitive tasks, while Sora works to produce a "stress free, easy connectivity" between the two versions.

Well regardless if Lucina turns out to be an alt/original character, i'm actually digging the fact that there's more female representation on Smash. I'll admit I am one of those guys that's kinda biased to female mains and usually shy away from playing female characters, (Cause they are often oversexualized and although I LOVE vagina, I can't help but feel like a pervert whenever I pick one, especially in fighting games where they are almost always scantily clad in some way) I like when game creators make strong female leads/characters that don't want you to focus on the "obvious physical aspects" of being a female character...but the actual merits of their personality or abilities.

Which is pretty much why I like characters like Samus, the new Lara Croft, Lenneth Valkyrie, Lucina, Sheva Alomar/Jill Valentine, etc etc. I like Bayonetta too but god damn, I feel like I have to play her games alone in a locked room lol

They can kick ass without having to be half nude, having a seductive personality, or being weak and in need of rescuing.

We already know that some characters have different costumes, so I guess he changed his mind.
