PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

How about adding funds to your wallet with PlayStation Store Gift Cards? You can buy the digital codes from Amazon.com.

Eh, but then I would have had to spend $10/20 rather than just $5 for the games I wanted. Really just want to know why the web store doesn't like my card. It doesn't specifically say that it's my card, it just says that there was an issue processing my purchase (and looking up that error message gives a bunch of results that say that the error is card related).

Oh man TxK needs Morpheus support. Minter has a dev kit too.

Wow.. Project Diva f is hard! Any tips? Do you guys general try to time by watching the thing spinning around (aka staring at the O) or watching the buttons flying across the screen.

No real tricks, just practice. It gets easier the more times you hear a song and memorize its intricacies.

Trophy related question, searched but don't know if there is a trophy thread.

Is this a normal thing for PSN or is it just a game by game bases; I beat Strider on hard difficulty and got the trophy for it, but I don't get the trophy for beating it on normal too? Like... I have to play it again to get the trophy for the lesser difficulty? I am new to PSN with PS4, but on Xbox 360 from what I remember most games would unlock every completion achievement up to the difficulty you completed.

It's game-by-game, regardless of what system you're on.

You could try adding via Paypal? That's what I always end up doing.

I don't know if I'd say it's amazing but it's certainly a very solid and fun shooter. Considering the lack of quality third person shooters on handhelds I can sort of see why someone would think it's amazing comparatively speaking. I had a lot of fun with it.

Ain't nothing smooth about that janky framerate and those stick controls.

Don't waste many (or any) points in the boots for kicking. Dodging is key for the Elf so try to max that out. Also the Elf's bow attacks are all great and get used to doing the aerial charged shot, dodge, charge shot, dodge, charge shot, dodge...very useful against mobs and bosses, especially with a maxed out charged shot and clone strikes.

Hm okay. After reading through all the follow-up posts I get the feeling that there are many viable builds, so I guess I'll just experiment a bit. How often can you respec?

You have great taste.

If you tell me you love P4 and using the Bow in Dragon's Dogma I'd consider you my soulmate.

Thanks, I loved P4G but I haven't played DD yet. I will though since I have it thanks to PS+.

I've tried to play it multiple times and it just seems boring and I didn't like the controls either. Maybe I'll give it another go one day but I couldn't see anything redeeming about the game.

I don't understand why neogaf wants me to wade through vita Asia posts to get to any user posts on pan stuff...why mods why

Once you beat the game the first time, on the subsequent playthrough you'll unlock a harder difficulty and a new labyrinth. In the new labyrinth you'll have random bosses and enemies in random rooms. Once you beat 3 complete floors (because each floor has 3 stages) you'll get a prize weapon/armor/accessory as well as an amnesia potion that will wipe out all used points and you can start loading them up for a "fresh" build.

Don't worry too much right now for the Normal and Hard playthroughs. If you want to put points into boots, go for it; you may enjoy kicking more and if it suits your play style, why not? By the time you reach the Infernal playthrough, you should know your character perfectly and can adjust to fit more of your demands. You can not max out all the attributes. There are not enough skill points in the game to max out a character.

Ok Vita cats. My local GS has only one copy of Unlimited World Red in stock for $40 and I'm tempted, but I know nothing of the game itself. Buy or pass?

Damn it!
Nevermind anyway, Amazon has a low price so I'll buy it from there.

TOTP: Buy One Piece Unlimited World Red for Vita!

I picked up my Vita copy of One piece earlier today. Only managed to play for an hour so far, but I'm really enjoying it. The game looks really good on the Vita..Too bad coop is limited to local.. Would have like to try it out.

It's time to buy my friend.

Yeah, it looks amazing. Really love it so far.

I actually rented One Piece from Gamefly but unfortunately there's no option to keep it. I'm liking it quite a bit so I'll probably pick up a physical copy new from Gamestop very soon, I don't see them lasting too long.

Brah i just started the true ending dungeon for golden, feels great, im trying to get a few more persona before i face the true end boss.

And damn at Naoto's coronet armor, was NOT expecting that, no complaints though.

Golden has been an amazing experience even after playing vanilla.

what's the coronet armor? lol where did you get it
lol I'm surprised they didn't make the Bath Towel costume available for everyone

I'm loving my Neo Featherman costume :P

I let my roommate borrow my PS3 for the summer, and his little cousin apparently spent $40 on Tekken Revolution DLCs while he was gone today. My poor Disgaea 4 Vita funds. ;_;

Your Hachiman has nothing on my (minor late-game spoilers)

lol how did you get that? lol....
but you have no Primal Force :P

Why would you keep grinding when you already were ridiculously overpowered?

trying to get that HRF

Featherman costumes are GREAT

But try and get the coronet armor for naoto, its hi-cut armor you can ge from Kashiwagi (in january)

You do requests for her and she give you one for the girls.

That Shirogane hi-cut armor, damn.

Yeah, what can you guys tell me about One Piece? The game? The anime? Why should I put this game on my radar?
It's a fun game and one of the best looking, colourful titles we've had on the Vita.

Can't tell you much about the anime. The series has been running for fifteen years and I'll never catch up.

I can't stand more of Conception II, even if I barely pay any attention to it while playing. I can't wait to finish my first playthrough, I doubt I'll go for the platinum trophy this time.

Yeah... That's the sense that I got from the demo. Which is a bummer, I was excited for that game. :-/

Finally stepping up to SS Delta, drawing me in a lot more than Vanilla for whatever reason. Keep wanting to go back to P4G though, stopped at Kanji's world while doing sidequests and getting distracted with other games.

No point in adding useless skills like Primal Force when I have Hassou Tobi on my Yoshitsune.

that's true too.
man don't get me crazy with maxing out Skills on my Personas...
I'm almost crazy enough to go Lv99 on ALL personas :O

-welp-

and I'm not even on NG+

Which is better for Symphony of the Night on Vita: the PSN version of Dracula X Chronicles, or the PS1 version itself? Both are Vita compatible, I'm just curious which is the better port between both games.
