Giant Bomb #8 | It's a Hit!

The impression I get is that Comic Vine essentially itself. Most come for the wiki and the forums. I am sure the interviews and podcast get some views but I am not sure videos really lend themselves to comics like videogames do.

Try Bounty Hunter, he's pretty easy for newbies and he's super fun.

You're going to look back at this picture in a few months and see amazing hilarious things.

Yeah just focus on not dying first and foremost, which you seem to be doing okay in.

Have you tried jungling him yet? It's relatively new but if you want to get your items faster and try out the jungle, you can do that. Just watch a few videos on doing it and you'll figure it out.

Surprised that it's not heavy at all. One person can carry it with no real problem. Now comes the tedious process of wrapping and resending it. Very likely going to have UPS pick it up so I won't have to lug it around myself. One question though for the group. The fridge came in a box inside another box. Both are padded, so shipping it back in just the inner box, but it sort of gives away the surprise.

I plan on printing it out at work along with the packing labels, and have this wrapped up and ready to ship in the morning.
 
Shadowgate Classic for the GameBoy is the only game to ever make me cry. Could not wrap my head around it at the age I tried to play it and was very frustrated that I blew savings on it.
 
You got a nice house or apartment.

Anyway, you should order the usernames alphabetically. It looks like a hodgepodge as it is and is downright unprofessional (which is acceptable as long as they receive it on a Friday).

Thanks for all the tips - and sorry for keeping posting the Dolta stuff here. The Dota OT seems a bit to much for me right now - everything about it is way above me.

I will give Bounty Hunter, a go. It seems like his has a "mark targets" move might be right up my alley

Not sure if you have checked him out yet, or where you are on your long MOBA journey..

If you have some time watch some videos by Purge on youtube.

So very helpful if you're trying to learn the game or even a new hero.

Unfortunately, I shreded all my boxes about a month ago. I think I'll mail it in the bigger box, but still reverse the smaller box. That way it's a double joke. With UPS pickup it's not going to be a problem for me to mail it out. Even in the big box it's not all that heavy. Just awkward from the size. Though it's a real fridge. Has a compressor and everything. Wish I had one in my office.

You guys to realize that Dan + old crew have the world record for playing brawl the longest in 1 sitting right?

I assume that Dan still loves him some Smash bros, so I imagine that he will be the one covering and reviewing the game this fall.

And when you kill his marked target all nearby team mates gets bonus gold! He's not crazy powerful, but his stealth requires a fair amount of coordination and foresight from the enemy team to counter, so as long as you're playing against low-ranked randoms you will likely just have free reign to run around in stealth in the mid game and assassinate people by catching them off-guard.

Also he says a line from Ghost Busters when the game starts, making him the best hero.

All that puppy stuff is awesome as well. That Copper's Dream letter seems pretty nice.

Didn't they lose the record a few months later? I think i recall at the end of the documentary them seeing some group that was going to beat their record.

Yeah, I mean you kind of have a point but I guess the stuff that bothers me about non-GB creators is the weird kind of business model.

Patrick made a good point in one of his recent articles; they don't have to rely on Google or SEO optimization to do what they do successfully. It allows them to be more honest with their motives without having to resort to clickbait or things along those lines.

The youtube ecosystem, which allows someone like pewdiepie to become a millionaire, is just a weird thing. like and subscribe. like and subscribe. like and subscribe.

Having a business model that is based solely on how many people you can get to click on your videos is pretty fundamentally different from one that is based on people directly paying money to access a steadily growing body of work.
 
Vinny and Alex are turning out to be a really great combo. The Mega Man 2 Bombastica is excellent.

Great game, great music. Though Alex is wrong; Dr. Wily's Fortress Theme 1 is the best in that game.
 
Not a fan of EX if the devs are playing, its basically a developer diary or something at that point. Just...dude was explaining the three different difficulties. >_<
