(The way things are going, he'll spend the whole episode bundled up in a well padded parka reading crucial exposition to Lydia off a Samsung brand smartphone.)
I am really liking the format of the episodes this season the first half being loaded with humor while the second half has character moments and horror elements sprinkled throughout.
And with this episode Act 1 comes to a close!
I like how each and every one of the characters are going through some financial set back and why on earth was that lakehouse room sound proof hinting at another banshee in the family. I'm really impressed at the work Jeff is doing with the Malia and Stiles relationship in just 4 short episodes he's making me really enjoy the characters.
Yeah I didn't expect the connection between Malia and Scott to rely on the whole "I did horrible shit, but not only remember it but enjoyed it" bit. Loved that. Malia x Stiles forever. I am willing to go down with this ship captain.
Pretty average episode, meh. At least Peter got to kill someone. Apart from him this episode was disturbingly low on hunk factor.
You know, Jackson never should have left. With him as the new werewolf guy we would have been guaranteed a bunch of angsty werewolfy shirtless scenes. He's legal and it's well established that he has sexual tension with absolutely everyone.
But still clothed for some unholy reason.
Oh I assumed that was a banshee thing, like an indication that something was up with Lydia.
The conversation was that Lydia's family is broke and they needed the Lake House in perfect condition because they just put it up on the market and they need every penny they can get

WHAT. HOW? All the sound cut out for me, I thought that it was part of the show. Which it was, right? Cause the she realized there was no sound. Could the other kid even hear her?
That's sad. All the parents in Beacon Hill are broke.
I really wasn't expecting Liam to have anger issues, I'm excited to see what they're gonna do with him. I love this season so far, one half is funny and the other half is a 20 minute horror movie.
Thanks for this
Like NotTheGuyYouKill said it's kinda odd how that scene still worked without the vocals. Definitely just thought it was something wrong with the room
Is the guy (has he got a name yet) the new gay character there was talk about? I'm assuming so as Liam seemed interested in Kira and the other two freshman are together
Thanks for this

I actually think it was more affecting without the vocals. You really get a sense of wrongness and things are beginning to get screwy. It's good to see what they were talking about though.

Hmm... I don't think he's a love interest, I think he's one of the assassins tbh, also:
remember that Benefactor thing fans had to do to unlock the trailer?

I guess we'll see. Mason is at least crushing on him. (Apparently Brett goes to Liam's old school, so I don't know if he's in league with Garrett and Violet.)
Lets look at those words again...
117 (Episode title, the amount of bearer bonds stolen from Peter & Derek)
2436
DEMARCO (beer guy)
BRETT (shirtless dude from Liam's old school)
JORDAN
HEXAGON
TOMAHAWK (The Mute's weapon)
TRUTH (part of the mantra Demarco was chanting)
THERMOWIRE (Violet's weapon)
DECADE
YELLOW
VIOLET (Garrett's killer GF)
CONTROL
MUTE (The mouthless dude)
IGLESIA (The place Kate hid Derek)
SATOMI
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Demarco was a victim, so I don't think Brett being on there is indicative of one thing or another.
Yeah, I don't want to knock the actor because he's such a tall glass of fuck yes, but I think it's safe to assume his inbox isn't packed with job offers, the way he's hung around for all these seasons just to deliver infrequent bursts of canned menace. Unless of course he was promised some incredibly juicy storyline that makes it all worthwhile.
He seems like he's getting his due this season though. Almost all the main story threads involve him in some way. (Kate, Malia, the money, the hunters)
It would explain why Malia and himself are not on the list, but it makes the scene with him and The Mute questionable. (Plus, I don't think he wants Derek dead, so why would he put him on the list?)

Yeah, let's just hope this leads to a lot of meaningful screen time with the principal characters. He's a really effective villain/antihero(?) when he has something to do.

I don't know, I'm not sure if it's a plausible twist. I guess they could do the classic lazy writing thing and play off the inconsistencies as purposeful misdirection.
"I had to conceal my identity and it worked even better than I'd planned, mwahaha!"
