what the hell. in that new GameSpot video, fox was able to jump after his side b
:/
they were animated really smoothly though? So I don't really get why
i thought the jerky thing was a throw back to his retro origins, and a call back to the WarioLand games, not Warioware. Why do people keep saying Warioware? did someone write that on a wiki?
Can villager do this?Yup. This has been know since e3 actually. Now lets hope ike benefits from this too lol

Anyone notice how as soon as the timer is done, the game immediately loads the victory screen? That's way faster than the E3 demo.
Because Ridley was in 7 Metroid games and Kraid was in three. Mother Brain and Dark Samus were also in three, but they were main antagonists, not flunkies.I've been thinking about it. Why is nobody suggesting Kraid? He might be a better inclusion than Ridley.
I'm imagining a Bowser clone with Guile Sonic Boom style projectiles. Would be a big relief since approach was one of his biggest weaknesses in past games.
But fox isn't good like melee fox. S4 fox is much more similar to brawl fox. Shine is garbage, can't jump out of shine, up-smash nerfed, etc.i didn't notice this at all. idk what to think about it tbh. might be too much of a buff. as if fox needed more benefits
That was my first thought. I didn't expect to be that long of a wait in the final build, but to see it already that immediate is great.http://smashboards.com/threads/game...loading-times-new-demo-in-circulation.361443/
Smashboards is talking about that, speculating possible new demo build or something.

I liked the transition in the E3 build, but you can't argue with better load times.http://smashboards.com/threads/game...loading-times-new-demo-in-circulation.361443/

They're two months from release, and games are usually complete a month before release during which they go through certification. Any footage released from now until release will likely be from more optimized builds. That's a drastic improvement from the Best Buy demo. It felt like there was actual slowdown once the game said time, like that the game wasn't running well. So I'm glad to see that be fixed, though I figured it would be.

from what ive seen she does take liberties around the torso area fairly often lol
It's very likely that the E3 build was quite old by the time people got their hands on it.That's a drastic improvement from the Best Buy demo. Melee fox is one of the most technical and interesting fighting game characters in existence, but okay, opinions and all that.Melee Fox is boring to watch anyhow. Too many KO for dummies combos.
A lot of people in the Smashboards thread are commenting it does seem to have some differences. Not sure if it's wishful thinking or actual change, but they keep mentioning Mario as being one of the characters with little landing lag, so I'm a happy camper.you guys think this is a new build? maybe its just me, but the characters seem to move more...fluidly. or quicker. idk the physics look better!
This isn't a matter of taking liberties. It's a matter of Rob Liefeld proportions.
Yeah I didn't notice it at first, but when I saw it I was kinda thrown.
It's especially jarring cuz normally this artist's stuff isn't that noticeably borked.

Fox getting knocked around sounds like Haggar throwing a dude in Final Fight. It's weird.
Any good footage of Mega Man out there? Most people I've seen seem pretty terrible at playing him.
At 1:15, Fox does his side-B off the stage and still recovers?? What the fuck is this?!

Would it be likely that the 3DS and Wii U version have different physics? I.e. that the 3DS is closer to Brawl while the Wii U is closer to Melee?
3-4 months from release on the Wii U version, and for what it's worth the 3DS version never glitched up on anyone while I was there at the demo, though the Wii U did a couple of times. But yeah, I'm expecting the game to be more and more optimized as we see more demos.
That said, I wish they'd have the demos say, in big, huge capital letters "FINAL SMASH IS NOW DONE BY HOLDING SPECIAL. HOLDING. YOU HAVE TO HOLD IT." This change screwed up everyone who played the game and is the reason most the people playing it didn't manage to get their final smash off.
What is the purpose of her fucked-up torso proportions? In most cases, artists contort or exaggerate body parts on purpose.

I thought Japan was getting the Wii U version September. Guess I'm mistaken.
You have to hold the special button? That messes with the timing. Why not allow players to activate it by pressing both special and normal at the same time?
pikachu's thunder spikes donkey kong in this video, did it do that in other games?
I noticed a ton of Smash posters and ads replacing the Mario Kart posters in the demo section of Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara yesterday. Impending demo release?
At least in this demo, it seems like a lot of characters have certain aerials that have landing lag and others that don't. So, hopefully if this is the same in the final game, it becomes a major part of strategy as to which aerials you use when, more so than in past games. Almost like l-canceling is automatically applied to some moves.thats awesome! i really really hope they took the fan's consideration and made a new build that shows the improvements over the last E3 one. it seems like (and this is IF they made a new build) a step in the right direction. hoping for the best by release.
eh, i would hope so! but, would it be easy for someone to hack the demo's files and find anything? if so, Nintendo would probably be cautious about it.
Awesome they're dying at much lower percentage there
Oh my gosh, how have I not heard about this?! This is fantastic! I can't tell you how many times I've used a Final Smash without even meaning to...That said, I wish they'd have the demos say, in big, huge capital letters "FINAL SMASH IS NOW DONE BY HOLDING SPECIAL. I also am totally not a pro player, so feel free to tear apart what I just said.![]()
Initially, I had considered including Lucina as one of Marth's alternate costumes. After all, she has a close relationship with him in FE:A. In such cases, even if two characters' names and voices differ, as long as they function the same way, I assign them as alternate costumes.
Considering that Marth is using his Shadow Dragon/New Mystery of the Emblem design instead of his Awakening DLC design, I'd imagine that, if Roy were in the game, he'd probably keep his Binding Blade design.
Nope, exclusive to this Smash.
Ooooooh... those are amazing.
However, both the tomes and the Levin Sword will quickly regenerate after a set period of time.
At the end of the day, Chrom would just end up being another plain-old sword-wielder like Marth and Ike.
I really dislike timed matches, wish Nintendo did something short, like 2 stock matches for these demos if they're worried about time.
Exactly they wanted everyone to make sure they got a turn to play rather than just letting 2-4 people hog it until they felt satisfied. And risk two people just playing to test out moves and taking ages to end their go? Two minutes ensures they get their time and then they're off.
So, I may be late here, but didja guys hear the Gamestop rumor? According to it, not only is the Wii U version releasing on November 21, but every game will include a free Amiibo figure.
Man, if this is true, there go my plans to get the game digital, demolished just like that.
