Do you not realize you will still be getting the same amount of beta time? Maybe today it starts later in the day due to you being in the East. But when it closes, it will also end later due to you being in the East. They always promised it would begin at a certain day and time and end at a certain day and time according to a west coast time.
 
I haven't seen anything about this beta besides this thread, so I know it's been said a few times the level cap is 7/8, but a friend just told me he saw 20 somewhere.

Any confirmation either way?

Possibly changing with the launch of the public beta in 2 hours so no point in worrying about it anyway?

I think you would be better off waiting for the WiiU beta. Just go to club Nintendo and keep refreshing the page until you see a code.

Absolutely no promise has been made to you that has yet been broken. There was no 'global service' offered. The beta FAQ states very clearly that it will begin at 10am PDT.

You have purchased a game on pre-order along with a promotion that entitles you to early access to a beta version in just over two hours from now. You will still receive both - even despite supposedly cancelling your preorder.

Your 700+ followers mean exactly dick, by the way. I'm in the same boat - 1,300+ social media followers, many of whom are industry and media influencers, and the thing that makes them influencers? They make up their own minds and carefully consider their opinions to make sure that their word is trusted.

You are behaving like a spoilt child who's been told their snack needs a few more minutes to cook.

There was some Legendary level 20 gear in the alpha, that's probably what he saw now in the beta, but we can't use it obviously.

Sorry maybe I missed this but where did Bungie say it would be downloaded? I've always heard 1 Pm EDT for the unlock. Not sure where all the angst is coming from.

While I'm waiting I'm contemplating what class I should play this time. I really enjoyed my time with the Warlock during the alpha, and I had some brief time playing as a Hunter and that seemed fun as well.

Is there anyone that played every class that can weigh in on their experience and perhaps what they think the most fun class will be?

Nothing yet...they really are going to start sending the codes at 1 o'clock(EST here)...oh well,might get to play tonight,PSN is usually pretty fast for me,guessing 13 GIG will take about 1 hour...
