Luckily I can do whatever on the computer all day at work, but the wait, oman, it's going to kill me.
 
Will play. Hopefully they improved the way the missions work (and stuff like coop with strangers), it was all so awkward and slow to load in the alpha, took me out of the experience, I don't know how to explain it but it all felt too separated and videogamey, should be more seamless somehow after you're already out in the world exploring, stuff should just kick in without randomly having to go to a menu and slow loading screen with your ship in orbit.

The loading is quite long, but I personally thought the way you connect with other players was done incredibly well. At least the loading screens look great!

Or you create an EU account and preorder the game there, too. The beta download will be activated immediately and afterwards you cancel the preorder. You won't be charged at all as you have to pay for preorders when the actual game comes out, and that is in september.

If you read the posts after it wasn't meant to be that blunt, all that was being implied was that the avatars aren't ready yet and better ones were coming. There just was a communication error and how the message was worded.

I'm doing it because I want to help out and do my part to make everyone who wants to join DestinyGaf an enjoyable, fun experience.

Also it wasn't a formal interview it was just a bunch of guys seeing if I was right to be an admin, it's not the worst thing to do, hell back in the halo days I wish my clan took the same measures as we had a lot of issues with certain admins being very rude and bias
 
seen some of my friend already playing it, but mine still showed me error CE-34632-8
so i've tried to restore the license, but after that the beta's logo now have a lock,and the license is no more valid
help me gaf D:

My Bungie profile says I paid $80 for a beta code to be available on the 17th. It's 75% through the day with nothing, and we have to be OK with some obscure town's timing on the west coast. Asia seems to have it sorted, Europe a mess. Global service much?

OMG man. Stop being so entitled. It comes out when it comes out. I bet you go into a flying rage every time someone gets a game a few days early from a mom and pop store. Just chill. It's a game. Everyone is getting it at the same time. Unfortunately it's not an ideal time for you. Will it matter tomorrow? The next day?

Nah, my plan was all along to get the full US version of the game. I don't need only beta access...

First off, Bungie is located on the West Coast. So the people delivering your content should be allowed to wake the fuck up and get ready for the day. They have that right. Second, a decent portion of the world gives a fuck because Silicon Valley is on the West Coast. I hear that's an important tech center. Also, the Pacific time zone stretches outside of the USA, so you also have the rest of the population in that zone.

OBJECTION!!! A substantial portion of gamers did NOT pay for the pre-order. As Amazon is the largest online retailer, and they don't charge until the item ships, we did not "all" pay for the pre order. On that note, you paid for a PRE-ORDER. You did not pay shit for the beta that Bungie has graciously allowed your whiny ass to play.

Yes, I am a sad person for bothering to spend money on what I thought was a global-ready beta service. Now cancelled, spread to my 700+ social media friends (most of whom are major industry/media influencers) -- and will never do so again.

Now: Sorry, but good lord you are missing the entire point.

Then make it a West coast beta. Because they are providing sub-par service to everyone else who paid money around the world.

No one outside your little west coast bubble gives a fuck about what time Bungie's tech support wakes up. You offered a global service, and you didn't deliver it.

Averages do not serve the customer. 1-0-1 basics. So what about the millions who paid to pre-order this product (and BTW I have four free codes via work, and still paid to support Bungie) around the world yet literally nothing outside the US works?

If this is the future, the community needs to raise their standards.
