1) better precision with the right analog stick

STEP 1: Click here and log in: https://account.sonyentertainmentne...account/giftcard/redeem-gift-card-flow.action
STEP 2: Enter Code. You'll promptly see this:
STEP 3: Go to PSN Store via PS4. If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 4: Go to "Downloads List". If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 5: Select "Destiny Beta". If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 6: Click on "Download". If you see a blank page like this (https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net...33_1459271957674830_8554032848906394303_o.jpg) then don't panic. Keep on trying until it lets you. If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 7: Repeat STEP 3 to STEP 6 until it lets you download it.
STEP 8: Once the game downloads. Run it and it'll download the 10GB update.

AFAIK you don't have to redeem any codes since you are preordering from PSN. I think the beta should just be available to download from the store.

I am at 34% after a little under 2 hours.
So my pre-loaded beta download obviously didn't work after canceling the order. Got into my code page on Bungie.net and tried to redeem my PSN code a dozen times but never actually got to confirm the code.
However, I can now access the Beta client (which throws me another error but I'm OK with that as I can't play tonight) which leads me to believe that my code redemption worked?

I don't think you do. You just go to the store, Destiny tab and it'l be there for you.
Edit: or so I've glanced over while reading this thread earlier. I could be very wrong.
PSN preorders require no codes, just find the beta in the store and download.

But some good news I will am now an admin on the DestinyGaf EU.

I have other games to play and I was already sold on the alpha, so I should probably just knock out some backlog until actual release date.

If you were like me and preordered the base game you don't get a code. I had to preorder again on Amazon. I was shocked because that's why I preordered to begin with, now I'd have to pay more for the code? Fuck that

I was different.
I had to get my code from Bungie.net, go to Playstation store....redeem the code, then the download became available.
It wasn't available before that. At all.
