I am bit confused, i havent followed this at all

On the redeem page it says:

"9-digit code located on pre-order receipt, email, card, or flyer.
Contact retailer for Destiny Beta code issues."

Yet the codes you guys are posting are 12 digits? I am PS4 EU

You validate those directly on the playstation store.

If you have 9 digit code (XXX-XXX-XXX):

STEP 1. REDEEM CODE HERE: www.bungie.net/beta

STEP 2: Enter the 9 digit code. IF you have a 12 digit code then it belongs on PSN and not here.

STEP 3: Go to your Bungie Profile here: www.bungie.net/en/profile

STEP 4: Click on "Codes" (Third tab on top).

STEP 5: Choose your console and your region. BE VERY SELECTIVE AS YOU CANNOT REDO IT.

STEP 6: You'll receive 3 codes for PSN or XBL. Use one and give two away! :)
 
wandered into GAME on my way home to try an blag a few beta codes and got an unused beta code from them:

also have a couple of spare EU codes I've not used on PSN yet.
