75 per platform, 125 total when you combine the two. We are capping groups at roughly 75 no matter what to make this simpler for us.
And yeah, what Distortion said is the more detailed reason.
EDIT: Going to bed. See you all tomorrow. Tomorrow DGAF Asia and South America will be working. If you would like to admin either of those two groups, please PM me. After I have those set up I will probably be taking a break from clan business for a day or two, as the last week has been extremely stressful and the clan isn't nearly as understaffed as yesterday.

Because that would more than likely end up with 75 PS clan members, 20 xbox clan members, and everyone else in the group unable to set it as their playstation clan, so it is easier to cap at 75

I've never actually seen this question answered fully. I've searched online and there's very little help on the subject of clan meetups or forming teams through clans.
If anyone can shed some light that would be great.
Currently I don't think there is a lot of support for Clans.
Best thing you guys could do is arrange a meet up via the Clan wall page.
As soon as I know anything more I'm sure myself and other admins will sort it out.
I actually came here to ask this too. I was expecting the game to offer me the option to play with clan-mates, but I don't think I've even seen the words "clan" or "group" mentioned anywhere yet. It seems entirely focussed around my PSN friends list.
Surely we're not expected to just manually add people from our clans to our friends list?

I would expect there to be some integrated Clan functionality to be live by release to be honest, especially with pushing clans on the website, and the 'shared world' aspect in all the promo stuff. Probably won't see it during the beta, maybe in a day 1 patch or something.

OK cheers skelly. Hope they give a bit more clan support at launch. It should be easy to set up a system to be able to invite clan members and not just people on your PSN friends list.

Hey all Admins of Regions. Please read this. Do not send an Alliance invite to DestinyGAF.
It is suppose to be the other way around. Raishin, the Founder of DestinyGAF has to send an invite to all the other sub-groups (the ones we're in charge of) so that's when the Alliance will be under DestinyGAF. Not DestinyGAF EU or East NA.
So just sit tight and sooner or later the Alliance invites will be sent out by Raishin.

Shadownet actually when you do an alliance there is 2 options pick the right one and it works fine
They must have updated the system at Bungie. It wasn't like that when WorthyEdge and I experiment with using two dummy groups account.

Just a heads up nobody is willingly ignoring your application but we don't have nearly as many admins as we need for a forum as large as neogaf and when there are application after applications of different regions shit can get lost. Right now there is no immediate need for clans to get done since clan system isn't even in the beta. We'll still do our best but be patient.
