As far as I'm concerned just 'Set it as PlayStation Clan' then reboot/login into BETA and it should be visible. It was working for me, let me get back on to confirm.

How to activate:
Sign out of Bungie.net after setting clan. TURN OFF the beta and log out of PSN or COMPLETELY turn off your PS4. Then log back into Bnet and back into PSN.

Edit: Looks like somebody removed the F from the actual group. Lol. Fixed that.

Most likely the reason for the clan tags not showing for some is that Bungies DB is backed up somewhere, i would guess the amount of various request to it is insane.
