I must be an idiot. I am a rank 1, I go to Lord Saladin and there is no cloak for me to buy. What am I missing?
I kindof like it. Forces you to spread out. Also I titan smashed a group of 3 trying to cap our 2nd area, felt like a god watching them all evaporate.

Not a bug, you get XP for turning in a bounty, and it's usually enough to level up a piece of uncommon gear. This is actually the best way to level gear really quickly without grinding for it.

Anyone else think that the placement of the mini map in the top left of the screen useless or a pain? I find that it gets washed out in the outdoor areas with the skyline etc.

Honestly I wish the hand cannons were able to be as competitive as the rifles. Maybe once we get legendary hand cannons with faster rate of fires. I went below 1 K/D using them now with the auto rifle that never happens.
I did pretty well in Iron Banner, and certainly enough to hit rank 1 with Saladin to unlock the cape. I had that item that makes enemies drop glitter no matter what, so me and my buddy did Strike quick and I used it in the hacking defense room. I made more than 600 glimmer from that encounter alone, and got enough to get my cape.

You go to Lord Saladin and look to the left on the menu that comes up...same as viewing the reputation for any of the factions
Interact with the Iron Banner NPC. In the left you'll see a circular thing with your rank and progress (even more detail if you highlight it).
This is also how you check your progress for other factions as well. Go to the NPC for the faction you want to check.

Vanguard = Your Class trainer/Vanguard Quartermaster (?)
Crucible = Crucible Quartermaster
Iron Banner = Lord Saladin (see above)

Your rank progress for each faction is on the left side of the screen when you talk to the person. I wish there would be a menu to check without having to go back and talk to people.
I wish the game somehow indicated when a player had their super power ready so you were aware when battling them. And also only matched you with players that have the same unlocked abilities as you do (or abilities of more or less the same level).

I was getting this error.
Just fixed it.
Hold the PS button on the controller and log out. Press the PS button to turn the controller back on and log in. Try reconnecting to Destiny servers then.
Shutting down and rebooting the PS4 didn't help, only logging off this way helped.
