I vaguely remember it, will have to hunt it down someday and watch it again someday. My favorite movies are Snatch and Redline, but I think that's a little off topic lol.
I can bring this back on topic.

Redline is that incredible-looking animated movie about futuristic racing... not unlike F-Zero.

F-Zero, which has Captain Falcon in Smash!

See? All roads lead to Bros.

I've been wanting an F-Zero x Redline crossover ever since I saw that movie, but alas ;-;

Imagine an F-Zero with prerendered cutscenes in that style, and cel-shaded in-game graphics emulating it. It'd be a nice throwback to the "dark" comic book style of F-Zero X on the N64, actually. Hopefully it'd return to that buttrock form of music, as well.

Yep, F-Zero is great, and so is Captain Falcon, Captain Falcon who is in Smash Bros.

But unlike Smash, F-Zero will never sell.

I wonder how many filler pics are left until JP launch.

Sakurai can always make more. Luigi, get that nose ready =[

And they'll be the filler-y-est filler pics ever

PotD: "This is a detail shot of the seizure warning at the start of the game. To help players more quickly deduce whether they're sensitive to seizures, we rapidly flash different colors across the text in an undulating fashion."

If I had a drink, this is where I would spit it out in laughter X]

Sakurai: ALL OF THEM

You know your way around loopholes!

Sakura: I have been arguing with my staff about what marvel is going to announce this weekend, so there is no pic of the day.
Is Sakura the cute sister of Sakurai who's moe and surrounded by a shower of cherry blossoms that inexplicably rain down even indoors?

A little bit back I noticed some people worrying a bit about how many stages we might get per game. Despite the sound effects and music that would go along with it I feel like all the energy not going into subspace stages will be enough to get us around 60 brand new stages total between both games. Subspace stages may not equate to a real battle stage but that's what keeps my hopes high.

Also that leaker is goon. Some people are giving him the benefit of the doubt because he is saying all the right things. I mean Ridley, Mewtwo and K Rool? Of course he's going to get some followers. I will say that Lucina and Rayman coincidence are certainly interesting but I'm betting just luck. The people with the least to say have the biggest mouths.

No Sakura is Sakurai in an alternate dimension where he is a woman.

She makes super bash sisters.

I was thinking about ALBW, and after some thought I came to the realization that Ravio would actually make a really unique fighter if it implemented ALBW's item rental mechanic.

Perhaps items such as the different elemental rods could be implemented as Ravio's specials (Ex: Tornado Rod as recovery) but in order to use them he would need Rupees to get the items first. He can do so by beating up enemies and knocking Rupees out of them ala Coin Battle, and once he has a set number of Rupees (displayed on his HUD like Little Mac's Power meter) he can purchase an item from Sheerow who drops it off. So if Fire Rod is neutral B yet I don't have it, I tap neutral B when I have enough Rupees and Sheerow will fly it to me. Considering there may be multiple Ravios in battle, just make the Rupees a specific Ravio can earn the same color as that character. So default Ravio could only pick up purple Rupees, green Ravio can collect only green, etc.

He keeps the special items as long as he isn't KO'd, but once he is, Sheerow takes them. (but not his overall number of Rupees) I imagined that for his normals he could fight using a bag of Rupees that he lugs around on his back, in which the less Rupees he has the lighter he will be making him more mobile yet weak, but when he has a lot of Rupees he is heavier which makes his attacks stronger at the expense of hurting his mobility.

Sadly though, I don't expect a new character from the Zelda series and even then I think Ravio would be too recent for consideration in this game.

Alternatively, Ravio could be featured in a stage on the 3DS version where you fight on the hill outside Link's house. Like the Golden Plains, you have to collect rupees. Every character's specials are on loan from Ravio and when they're KO'd their specials are returned and you must cash in your rupees to rent them again!

this is dumb why would ravio need to buy his own stuff
this sounds amazing, maybe could still be used for another character like Tom Nook if he's added in Smash 5?

he would just be another link clone

But seriously though, it would definitely be pretty cool to have him in. I'm kinda doubting that A Link Between Worlds will get much content in though :/
