Ridley would be as practical to shrink down and control as Kraid or Mother Brain. Metroid bosses, including RIdley, aren't practical for anything besides unplayable boss characters. We'll see a playable swarm of metroids before we see a playable Ridley.

I remember Pikablu. I remember finding out Mew and MissingNo glitches were real and being shocked. Getting Mew was such a cool thing considering we never had a chance in the US.

I would love to play as Dark Samus, and she totally deserves a spot, too. She was the antagonist of 2 great games, and had a cameo in the first of that trilogy. As far as Ghirahim and Demise go, I don't care for either character specifically. I would much rather have Vaati.

Bleh, having a whole seperate character for Dark ______ would make me feel cheated. While Dark Samus isn't as egregiously similar as Dark Link or Dark Pit, it would still be disappointing to me. I think these sorts of things are great ideas for alt costumes, but pretty weak for individual characters.

I know it is just for humor, but it breaks the suspension of disbelief when Link (and Marth to an extent) are called out by name yet the "6 year old" doesn't recognize Charizard or Sonic.

Really? For me it was Pakistan. Actually, a name like Pakistan makes me think they weren't even trying to fool anyone.

Edit- ghost peach is actually really clever. Almost to the level of "can't unsee."

We actually did have a few Mew giveaways during RBY. The big one was for the Pokemon Stadium tour as I recall, when they were hyping up Stadium to all hell and drive the Pikachu beetle around malls and the like.

Still annoyed by the Swapnote thing. I mean I could go back and use the DSi version, but I wanted to use it on my 3DS.

I actually looked further into this and only the friend sharing service was discontinued but not the Worldwide sharing. Although, the fact that it's a subscription service instead of being free like on the DSi is annoying but it's going to be free between 3pm and 7pm.

BTW, Brawl is the only series entry I've skipped. I assume it's okay to skip it and not miss out on much excitement in the way of SP stuff. Is that right? I had my fill of SSB MP with Melee so on that front I'm good to wait for the new games.

Finally, was the Stage Builder any good in Brawl, and is it expected to return in the new games?
