Snake is by far and away my most-wanted veteran. I'm preparing myself for the worst, but part of me still hopes.
I just wish Sakurai would come out and say he's not in the game, if that's the case. Why drag out the suspense. :-(

Same here. Shulk, Takamaru and Snake. I guess that's pretty much it for me.
Literally the only thing I want is Takamaru at this point. Anything else would just be more icing and I'd go into sugar shock eating that slice of cake.
I have no expectations for any of those characters apart from Shulk, and I would be shocked if any of them were even considered for the roster. Really, Shulk is all I need to be satisfied with the roster, and I can't think of any other realistic newcomer that would get me really hyped.
Technically, there are more than enough characters I know I'll love playing.
I'm most eager to play as Robin, Greninja, and the new and improved Bowser.
I'm excited for Lucina, but mainly I just like looking at her, lol.
Like I said, Palutena was my No. 1 most-wanted character, but I want to know more about her.
I'm also really curious to experiment with Little Mac, and to see firsthand how Rosalina & Luma plays.
Oh, and all three Mii Fighters look like a ton of fun. And Pac-Man is just a bundle of joy.

Next trailer starts off with Krystal on the ground in her adventures outfit telepathically whining to Fox to let her fight.
Meanwhile Fox is battling a mysterious foe it pans out to reveal its Wolf. Falco comes in the knick of time and fights along side Fox. Fox calls in for more support telling Krystal that its for her own good as she lies on the floor Chrom style.
As all three of them approach to collide Slippy comes running in but trips dropping a smart bomb ko-ing them all. Slippy trips into battle! Slippy is a Fox clone with his own Landmaster final smash only he is slower and more powerful. If he runs too fast he trips and falls.
Trailer ends with a silhouette of Krystal appearing behind Fox.
Krystal: I loved you Fox! But you pushed me away
Fox: Who are you?
Krystal: Call me Kursed!

I couldnt possibly think of a better way to piss off every possible fan base.

Between Palutena, Rosalina, and Lucina, I got some of my most requested characters, plus another Fire Emblem rep with Robin. There's not that many other new central characters from franchises I play, and not (m)any breakout characters from Nintendo in the past few years. I'd prefer Pushmo to be represented as a 3DS stage. An Inkling would be cool for a character, I guess.

Haha I actually wouldn't mind if there was a character that had tripping incorporated as part its downfall like Little Mac and his weak aerial.
Robin's is really great but the arrangement of the portraits need some sort of consistency and theme.

I'd be satisfied with shulk, snake and takamaru, I would be even moreso if krystal is revealed, alot of the characters I wanted have been revealed already so thats icing on the top.
Besies that I would loev to see more representation for the last story and pandora's tower, if not characters but music, or stages or AT or jsut trophies, also would like to see some disaster day of crisis representation.

Great to see a StarFox stage finally. I really liked the Assault ship design. Even if it's an a updated Corneria I guess I'm not too bothered.
This kinda dashes the slim hope I had for Krystal, since there's two Arwings there and we already have Fox and Falco. It'd be cool if you look closely by pressing start you can see Slippy and Krystal (or even Peppy).

In terms of new characters I'd like to see:
- TOON ZELDA -- Just make her a clone of Zelda, with modified properties and new effects like cel-shaded smoke clouds for when she uses Din's Fire. The addition of Phantom Slash, a Spirit Tracks move, makes me wonder if maybe Sakurai will revive what he left unfinished in Brawl (judging by leftover files). Ultimately, I find Toon Zelda much more appealing than Zelda.
- TETRA -- Introduce her in the same trailer as Toon Zelda! She'd offer symmetry to Sheik by being a wholly original standalone character who happens to be Zelda in disguise.
I'm sure Sakurai could come up with something clever based on the tools of a pirate: cannons and catapults and cutlasses, maybe even the grappling hook and a blunderbuss! - TAKAMARU -- The last of the Famicon Four (Takamaru, Link, Samus, Pit), and a swordsman with the sheath style of attack unique to samurais. And he's not just a samurai -- he's also a ninja, and has throwing stars, lightning attacks, fireballs, the ability to turn invisible and more. With Takamaru's Ninja Castle in Nintendo Land, his guest appearance in Samurai Warriors 3, and the re-release of the Famicon game, including its first appearance in English-speaking territories... Perhaps there's hope, if not for the main game, then maybe as DLC.
- DIXIE KONG -- Like with Toon Zelda, leftover files in Brawl suggest Dixie was in the works at one point. I think she'd be worth finishing up for SSB4. She would presumably incorporate her prehensile ponytail into her attacks, grabs and recovery. She'd be yet another female addition to the cast, and a rather unique one at that.
- KRYSTAL -- Krystal's not creepy. A certain part of the Internet just makes her seem that way. I think she'd be a truly unique Star Fox newcomer and another interesting female addition, who'd bring a strong staff-based move-set to the fray and could possibly even incorporate Tricky for a mixed puppet character approach. I like her design and think she has appeal, if one can get past the way her image has been sullied by others.
- SHULK -- More or less expected at this point, and I'm all for him and his time-altering powers. His sword, the Monado, also looks one-of-a-kind with its red metal and beam blade.
- CHORUS KIDS -- Also expected at this point, although I could also see another Rhythm Heaven character, Marshal, taking their place. We'll see. An RH character is expected at this point since, beyond the Gematsu leak, there is also the appearance of a RH character (the Sneaky Spirit) in Smash Run, and so far, only enemies from series represented by playable characters have appeared in Smash Run. I think an RH character could offer an interesting timing-based move-set, where the character visualizes your inputs, I.E. each Chorus Kid sings as you tap your buttons, and an onscreen indicator or musical cue serves as your metronome, the correct rhythm powering up your attacks.

The only new characters I strongly want to be in the game are Ray MK II, Travis Touchdown, Rocket Slime, and Hades.
That said, if Mewtwo returns, Mega Mewtwo Y is my favorite Mega, so I'd love for that to be his final smash (or for Mega Mewtwo Y to just replace Mewtwo and have Psystrike be his final smash).

My dream list for remaining newcomers would be K Rool, Knuckles, Cranky Kong, Dixie Kong, Mewtwo, Spyro, Banjo-Kazooie, Vivian (Paper Mario), Rawk Hawk and Ludwig von Koopa.

b-but energy projectile that would probably start out really weak because fighters could play tennis with it to make it more powerful, thus making it turn out to be a useless move!
