Wait what?
German got 1 day earlier for 3DS version... because of holiday??
Wait what?
Any roster without Falco or having Falco as an alt isn't really even worth posting. There's no way Falco doesn't return, he's now a staple of the series.

On the other hand, if there has to be cuts for whatever reason he's probably up there with Lucas in regards to causing the least fuss.
Great looking stage, I can already hear the epic music :O
Too bad this one wont get a FD mode D:
And I'm currently not in a place where I can get my regular avatar. Temporary avatar it is![]()
Ah, I remember that thread. What an asshat that VA was...
Oct.3 is German Reunification Day and no one's got to work. So we get the game one day earlier instead here, broken Street Date (like MK8) not even included
Based NOE, a few years ago we'd have gotten it Saturday instead![]()
Even better! Then we can finally put all these awful Wolf cut discussions to rest.Watch Wolf be revealed instead of Falco.

Do you have amount of unique posters per 5000?
I thought it was crazy that this thread moved so fast. So to put it in perspective, I checked how fast the other threads moved:

We're outpacing the E3 and Smash Direct threads. O.O To be fair, those generally got split between threads though. Still, I'm surprised this thread is a ahead. I guess it's from generally good pics of the day and being really close tor release.
And just for the sake of it, I made a chart with some of that info. I left out thread 10 since it's not complete yet though.

I wonder how fast thread 11 will be
Yeah, that would be pretty crazy to figure out. Could be done if you check at the time of I guess. But you'd only be able to get it for the whole thread, not an individual group of 5000.I don't think this is possible without manually checking lol
Metal Gear Solid 3.
I doubt it'll be as fast, it's already slowed down a decent amount from earlier in here.

I always thought that Falco being a semi-clone in the same vein as Luigi made sense. They're both partners and fellow wingman, so having a similar fighting style is fitting. Also, Fox's special moves are meant to imitate the Arwing, so it's natural that Falco does the same. Falco's moves differentiate in ways that match his personality and "birdness".I get it's an asset thing, but it really blows my mind how hard they try to differentiate Falco and Fox's movesets and still end up failing.
Agreed. And somehow I even managed to like the entire game. Including ground sections and multiplayer.
1vs1 dogfights on that Space Station map are sooo good. As are the ground sections with four players. I was impressed that you could use the tank and the Arwing in the multiplayer during ground sections, actually. Such a blast to play *_*
If the latter part of Thread 9 hadn't absorbed some of the Robins/Lucina/Falcon reveal posts, T10 might be just about wrapping up now, lol.
Probably a lot slower. But probably will still pick up at some point; I can't imagine we'll see the end of August without a newcomer trailer.I wonder how fast thread 11 will be
Oh yeah, there's also the tournament at CC. So that's probably a slight hype generator already.Yeah, but just wait until Ridley is announced at Comic Con!
I still can't tell whether people itt are serious about Ridley being playable. I thought that tease in the Smash Bros. Direct would have killed it.

Does not compute.
Thanks for the explanation though!
I'm not expecting an SDCC reveal.
We probably still have people hoping for Ridley to be playable in Brawl. It wouldn't die until it's 100% official that he's playable...or not.
This is defnitely true, although this seems to be a trend with major events getting split between threads.
Easy explanation: Image of my regular avatar is on my PC, currently I'm not home and working from my laptop -> No access to avatar (unless GAF creates an avatar history)
Is this a wing?

Looks very different compared to the wing on the side closer to us.

How would Ridley supporters react if he actually were a Charizard clone?
No he's not. Cutting Falco would cause a fuss, he's an incredibly popular character in Smash and a popular character in his own series.
We're going to have to start thinking about the remaining Melee vets as just as untouchable as the original 64 cast. Because it seems to be that way.
Right,
1) Veteran this Friday
2) New Trailer on Monday
3) Nintendo Direct sooon

Interesting that it's using the Assault Arwing designs despite the fact that we've already seen that Fox uses the N64 Arwing design for his entrance
but you just changed it?
now I'm confused >_>

I enjoyed the ground sections at first, but they became so tedious later in the game. It still didn't stop it from being my second favorite SF game right below 64/3D though.
Oh I definitely agree. All the fun times I had with the multiplayer completely makes up the shortcomings of the ground sections.
