I wonder how potd will be after the 3DS release. Will we keep getting it? (Probably.) Will it focus on Wii U specific features/stages I wonder, or just keep showing off characters and items that maybe we already know about? Maybe it will even focus sometimes on 3DS user submitted content. I probably won't care because I'll be playing the game.

Well, these are done for marketing, so I'd expect they'll mostly focus on Wii U content after release. Although I guess they might also want to cover whatever unlockable content the 3DS version has, to complete the character line up in the official site, at least.

Potd will probably continue. We know very little about WiiU exclusive features, because the 3DS version is closer to release

With the 3DS release I expect Sakurai may actually show more hidden details from the 3DS version.

What "mounting evidence"? He was teased as a stage obstacle.

Some did an analysis of ridleys shadow and compared it to a shadow of bowser on pyrophere and ridley is apparently only slightly bigger than Bowser, not really proof or anything and the analysis is probably wrong.

But the fact that he never actually showed ridley, the size of the shadow and how big pikachu was in comparison is pretty suspect if you ask me.



Also Falco being cut not causing a fuss? He's one of the most popular characters in smash, especially with the competitive community.

It's probably been the longest gap between a stage teaser and the actual reveal. Well, actually I think that might've been the Smash Run clip in the E3 2013 trailer and then confirming it in the Smash Direct. But for an individual stage...

I said at the beginning of the post that it was just my opinion and that I could totally understand if you loved the new characters. I'm just saying that for me, the new characters aren't hype-worthy. When I get one or two characters that make me really excited, then I will be satisfied with the roster, but so far that hasn't happened yet.

And this is a Smash Bros. thread, a fanservice nostalgia fighting game, so I feel like this would be remedied by maybe playing those games.

There should probably be a field to indicate any preferences. Just keep it so it can be left blank at first, and edited if called for.

A feature like that would be great.
