Why didn't you make a form, Oric?

Just hide the link to the form in e-mail tags so only GAF members can see the link. People can enter their info in the form and then it will appear on the document. You wouldn't need to enter the info people send to you yourself.
The main reason was because I did that with Mario Kart 8 doc and it just became irritating to keep checking if someone had messed something up (either by accident or just vandalism) or if everything was still organized. If everyone would rather it be open to the GAF public, I can do that, but I also don't mind working more to keep it a bit tidier. I definitely don't want to come across as being a boss (no pun intended :P) of the friend list, so if you guys want change it, let me know.

There is a chance to receive a 3DS demo of Smash. If anyone is attending San Diego Comic Con, tweet NoA with a picture and the hashtag #BringMeSmash, and Nintendo may send you a demo.
UK based me is sad :(

I fear changing my avatar because I (think so at least) built up a reputation on gaf as the guy with the dog and new leaf avatar.

Guys, tell me if I'm stupid for thinking that?

Basically, is anyone familiar enough with my avatar that they could identify me right when they see it or should I change it already?
Never seen you post. Although that's no wonder with one post every three days on average...

Sounds more like they bring a demo unit to you to try it out rather than let you take it with you.

This link makes it seem like it's a code. But your idea kinda makes sense...

Compose a tweet with the photo and the hashtag #BringMeSmash, and Nintendo may decide to send you a code for a demo of the highly anticipated game in your Twitter inbox

Lawd if this demo was a download, I would have composed the fabulous selfie I could muster

D1 just posted a link to a "The Competitive Guide to Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS after 72 hours" on his twitter which I thought was a good read. I'd link the site but apparently its shit-listed on GAF? So don't venture off that page for safety :P

I just want to clarify what I mean. I'm talking about doing something like this for the 3DS list (this is from the Luigi's Mansion OT I made):

Friend Codes List
Quote to see the Form link.
Form | | Friend Code List
--------------------

I may have misinterpreted what you meant and you tried this for MK8 and people ended up vandalizing it through the form.

Here's the link to said tweet. I found it to be really in-depth! A great read for those of you that enjoy technical stuff like percentages and game mechanics.

Yeah, we did that and after like a week someone (I assume not from NeoGAF) got in and deleted a bunch of stuff. Also happened to the Mario Golf: World Tour list (which I didn't make), but that was worse as someone went in and put a bunch of cursing / racial slurs in it.

So far, it's a surprisingly great read-up. Yay for that Mario combo.

Wait, how did they edit the document using the form? That's actually possible?

This is what I mean by form:

It has categories set and people just fill in the info themselves. Once they submit it, it will be put on the Google document. The person in charge of the form would just have to regularly check on the document to see if there is anything wrong with it. If someone were to use the form to put in offensive stuff, you can just unlink the form to the document and create a new form to take its place.

People recognized me after I changed my avatar to Treasure Knight, and not many people forget my avatar.

The whole twitter business feels like a forced attempt to be modern. Just use a fucking raffle.

There is probably a mandate to the PR team that they need to start using social media more. This is one of them.

This feels appropriate.

If I'm understanding you correctly (and I may not be, I'm not a master of all things google doc) that's what we did. And it wasn't a hard fix, we just used one of the back ups google documents makes automatically, but we were worried we may have lost some of the more recent additions and things kept happening and we eventually just ended up making it private between me and the original poster of the OT. To me, it's better I just limit the people who can edit it and keep it better organized. I get on GAF everyday, so it's not difficult for me to just add a few names everyday. But if you think there's a way to let people do it themselves that would maintain the organization and be easy to keep from being messed with, I'm down.

Hitstun higher than brawl, a bit less than Melee? Everyone seems to have a few true combos at least? Thank you Sakurai, that's all I asked for. A compromise between Melee and Brawl. Newcomers seem great and unique too.
