Don Bradman seems like a solid game though. This kinda looks good...

I wonder if Danny will gloat about the poms being beaten in their own backyard by the Sri lankans and the Indians.

Getting bounced out by those 2 teams is a massive embarrassment, as I'm sure everyone in this thread knows!

Then let's agree that getting bounced out by ishant sharma is a massive embarrassment.

Though I find it funny that liam plunkett has been doing a worst job bouncing them out.

Also to be fair both ireland and england got beaten by holland recently, so they're on equal footing as far as I'm concerned.
Kidding of course.

Jesus at the end of the Gods Will Be Watching quick look, looking forward to playing it tomorrow.

Edit: The compression/video quality in the San Francisco side is still shit. Have they said anything about it?

That question was kinda derailed. Disney World is great, but is it weird to go alone? I admit, I'd consider the person a bit creepy.

I've gone on rides by myself when no one else I'm with wants to go. I just always imagine the loners I see there are in that situation.

I don't understand a single frame this Velvet Sundown video. I just know that Vinny keeps saying "I love this game."

EDIT: Wait so is he talking to real people? Hahahaaaaaahahaaaa I can't take it

Ended up watching the Velvet Sundown thing since I couldn't sleep.

I agree with Vinny, it seems interesting. Maybe if it was a bit more transparent about what you're trying to do as each character, it'd be worth trying. This way, it has to rely on the incredible mind of Vinagawa McCaravellaburgito.

The second scenario was goddamn hilarious (when Vinny played the actress). How could a renaissance man like Vinny shun the thong, though, smh.

It's too transparent. I just downloaded it to try it out. I played one "match." People have already figured it out and they know what all the assigned roles are. My "team" "lost" within the first ten minutes and then everyone left because there was no reason to stand around role-playing.

It's an interesting concept, but in its current state the mechanics are far too rigid to achieve what they're going for.

EDIT: And I'll add that being forced to play in PUGs with internet people completely destroys the spirit of the game. There's a black character, so of course people will just be openly racist. It happened on the stream and it happened in my game.

Just finished the Bombcast. On behalf of myself and my avatar, Dan and his opinions on Epcot can drown in a vat of mustard. Also Universal Studios is a terrible, terrible place.

Alright then. I didn't even notice there were teams but I also got distracted a few times. Shame it's basically "solved" already, the idea is still interesting.. Guess it'll only be good for GBeast content, after all.

I just played Velvet Sundown and it's actually kinda fun. There's some really broken systems at the moment but I just had a game where I was a thief looking to sell data. I managed to con someone into believing I was working for a company who was buying data, had them hand over one set of data to me with them believing I had cash to pay them, tased them and stole the other data, then sold all the data for huge prophets to the actual company agents. I felt like an amazingly accomplished dick by the end of the game.

I don't think cricket is that complicated compared to most sports. You don't need to know all the rules to get a basic grasp of the sport. I don't think I even know all the rules.

while I don't agree, Jeff has an uncanny ability to make opinions you don't agree with seem completely rational.

T3 on the other hand, isn't even better than it's own deleted scenes, much less any of the other movies.

I slightly prefer T1, but more for the horror elements and the love story. I can totally understand why people would prefer T2 though. I think both are amazing films.

While I love T2, I hate the whole "no killing" command for the T800. I want to see him kill some mother fuckers with a minigun and grenade launcher, not incapacitate them and shoot their cars. It was totally unsatisfying when I watched those scenes outside of childhood. I think if the practical effects of the original didn't age so badly it would be definitively better than T2. The animatronic effects of the first film don't really create a sense of tension these days.

T3 exacerbates the worst parts of T2 tenfold by repeatedly hammering you over the head with callbacks and lame jokes, but it's still not the worst in the series.

Salvation on the other hand is so utterly devoid of any humanity or self-awareness that what attempts are there to make you care fall so hard that they rupture back down into the earth.

Edit: Most things I can slide, but this I can go Jeff levels of Yoshi.

Either 5 days, 9 hours or 4 hours depending on format.

Off topic, but I forget if you've mentioned it in any of the recent Ashes OT's: do you play club cricket Antiwhippy? I've been playing indoor once a week during the off season, and recently had my bat repaired by Gray Nicholls in preparation for the upcoming season. Can't wait to get started again, if only because it means winter is over (as much as I love my foot... soccer)

This Velvet Sundown QL is doing my head in, and a quick google isn't enlightening me in any way about what the fuck it is. I kind of keep expecting Ralph Pootawn to appear in it.
