SDCC2014 | Nintendo Challenge: Live @ SDCC & Smash 3DS Tournament

how do you use this thing

Download any of the media players listed on the site (I use VLC for streams). In Livestreamer Plus, right click anywhere, go to Settings, type in your twitch name and browse for your media player of choice. Then, if you are following the channel you wish to watch, simply press the Heart button in the top left corner. If not, you can search for streams in the box next to it.

And you have to keep the program running in the background while you're watching.

So much talk about lag :/

Really believe this will be ironed out in the final build, but disappointing to hear about it this late into development

Not gonna lie, this tournament is a mess.

An absolute joke. So glad I played the game myself today, otherwise this would have turned me off.

Fix the lag and the awful audio, please.

Nintendo probably underestimated what it takes to be a TO and just winged it a bit, thinking it would be similar to treehouse live in terms of complexity from the looks of the setup.

Thank god for headphones

Their Invitational was very well run IMO, but I'm guessing the very big increase in players kinda threw them for a loop.

Can't even imagine what you would have thought if this was your main impression.

In all honesty, probably mass disappointment. I'd still get it, just be very, very cautious.

Luckily, my matches were 60fps galore with zero lag or latency, so I am even more pumped than I was before.

Seriously, this looks amazing in 3D.
