I'm still highly disappointed that they didn't try to go out with a bang via .hack//Link.
You had a multi-generational game, which allows for invoking nostalgia, fanservice and an awesome way to end things. It could have been the Gundam Unicorn of the .hack series.
Instead, it is a direct manga→game adaptation. At least that's what I felt.

Any words/rumors for next months Plus games? Usually around this time there are threads for both US and EU regions, but now I can't find anything.
Now that I have a PS3 500GB, I'm really excited for the new games, because it will be my first Plus month as a PS3 owner (had only Vita for the past year). Come on SCEE make me happy!
On a side note, my imported Borderlands 2 Vita Bundle came ysterday, still haven't touched the console, because of lack of time (and maybe it will be at least a month till I can enjoy it). But I cannot redeem the game's code on my EU acc.
So now this code is useless to me and I'm looking to trade or sale it. If anyone is interested, PM me.

Anyone pick up Battle Princess of Arcadias? I can barely find a single critical word about it, some minor gameplay on Youtube, no OT. Tempted to pick it up because of the squishyyummy art style (everyone looks like jelly!) but $30 and digital only is a bit irking. Kinda thinking I'll wait on a sale...not sure NISA does sales too often though?
Speaking of PSN cards, do those usually go on sale around christmas? I'm usually bad at deal-hunting, I just grabbed a couple years of PS+ half off last year on black friday (digitally, thank crap)

. Out of all the PSN's out there, PS+ in EU has by far the best line up of games to play, so you will not be disappointed . It is a shame you joined it so late though, as you missed out on lots of great games . I'm sure this month will be good (I think you guys might get Injustice Vita and something else for Vita this month and I think one of the big indie games will be for PS4 and PS3 will get a big tittles that came out this year).Thanks. Can anyone translate the bit where the girl asks about the difference between this and PSO2? At least that's what I think was asked and explained a bit...The feeling I get is this is PSO2 minus the F2P MMO, so it's just another Toukiden/Soul Sac/Freedom Wars/Ragnarok Odyssey/Hunting of the Moneystars.
Since it's a "new" IP (no sequel number signifier) and way less online infrastructure costs, I would actually put down money that this will be localized.

I'm a EU Plus member since last summer, but had only a Vita (altho I "purchased" all PS3/PS4 games). Just got a PS3 this tuesday and I just now turned it off, because it was dowloading and installing almost all Plus games
Really cool - a new console and I have more then 20 games waiting for it What I meant was, now that I have a PS3 I'm looking forward for more great games, instead only for the Vita.

I would still prefer Online 2, so that I could waste my life away with some friends again, and will always lament what could have been if the Vita release had actually come out here in early 2013. Even now, it's been long enough that the vanilla version could be positioned as US "launch title" for PS TV
with Sony chipping in to make it happen for themselves and us.
Oh well, if Nova does come here, I'm certainly not going to pass it up.
I wonder what nonsensical release-schedule reasoning SCEA saw in releasing it this week and not weeks ago... when there wasn't 2 other Vita games releasing the same day that are much cheaper, and likely more attractive to more people who have a limited amount of money to spend on games... and when they're also starting a promotional sale tp get people to spend around $50 on 4 other games releasing one after the other all month long.
I can't wait for them to conclude that there's a lack of interest in the ip and in HD remasters, when less than a thousand people buy it during the next 4 weeks.

I can't wait to find out if this game is cross-buy or not for the NA version; will laugh a good deal if it isn't cross-buy and has no retail release (the ONLY reason I wouldn't mind the extra week delay) XD!
.....Man, this release is just really confusing :l; they push it back a week to when a big Vita game AND a big PS4 game launch....talk about about stupid moves man X(.

Did you complete the social link or are you toward the end of it? Because if you DID max the link out and explored the school a bit once you beat the final boss.....it turns to one of the best sections of the whole game XD!
If the games are cross-buy, then I will have a blast playing it on Tuseday

Finished the main story in Ys: Memories of Celceta. Enjoyed the game a lot. Next game I'll play will either be Corpse Party or Ratchet & Clank
$12 for the game, $6 for the Kurisu DLC.

Hey all, question about the PSN PLAY Promotion: Since Sony is doing pre-orders this year, do I have to purchase all four games before the first game releases (purchase all games before the 29th) or could I buy each game a day before its respective release date (Rogue Legacy on the 28th, The Swapper on August 4th, etc) to be eligible for the $10 back?

We'll actually I got it because it was described as tactical rpg with something similar to social links. I don't really like the art style but hopefully I will still enjoy it. Now I just have to delete something off my 32gb card to make room.
It's similar to social links, but forget the Persona social link you're probably used to. I hope you enjoy the game, it's one of Atlus' finest RPG series.
Congratulations, I hope you enjoy the game as I did.
Oh, I thought you wanted a lighthearted SRPG to get you ready for the more complicated ones.

Hmm all these Diablo 3 PS3 reviews make the assumption I know a good amount of Diablo 3 stuff already. Debating whether or not I want to pick it up for PS4 in a few weeks

The console version of D3 had strong impressions and Reaper of Souls is waaaaaaay better than D3 by itself. I can't imagine the game not being worth a buy on PS4 so I say get it. literally can provide hundreds of hours of fun, especially if youve got friends getting it as well.

Cool, thanks. My only thing I'm unsure of (because I'm so unfamiliar with the genre) is if the characters you play as get boring too quickly?
D3 was my introduction to the genre and I actually found it the exact opposite. the more you play, the more fun it is and the more attached to your character you get
As you level up you will unlock more abilities, gain better weapons and face more powerful enemies. But on top of that they also become more unique, it's not just dishing out higher damage and having more hp. You can get a weapon that chains lightning, makes enemies explode, etc. The enemies are the same way. You can come up with a mix of abilities and elements that work for you and that you enjoy. You'll also have more character customization options the farther along you get.
There's also 6 classes, so if you get bored of one quickly then you can try a different one out. They all offer different play styles.

What does Phantom Breaker Vita offer to justify the added cost over the 360 version?
$6 for Kurisu DLC is nuts. IIRC it adds some other stuff like a new difficulty and a level-cap raise, but half the price of the game? No way.
