C-Can I play too?

Dude it's Metroid. You're fine as long as you don't bring you're girlfriend along.

Room for one more?

As much as I'd love it, you're probably chilling with Waluigi again this time.

Basically that, in order from least to most interesting to be confirmed/announced of the unconfirmed melee/brawl vets

Wario
Meta knight
Ice climbers
Mr G&W
Falco/Ness
Jigglypuff
Rob
Wolf/Lucas
Ganondorf
Mewtwo
Dr mario/pichu/young link/roy
Snake

Ganondorf ranks higher because while we know he'll be back its interesting to see if Sakurai will finally give him a unique move set or if he'll still be a Falcon clone.

I'd say, from most to least:
1. Snake: A lot of controversy surrounds him so a reveal would be hype.
2. Mewtwo: A lot of people want him to return and he's still a fan favorite.
3. Ganondorf: Is he getting new moves? A heatly discussed topic too.
4. Wolf/Lucas: A lot of cut controversy.
5. Ice Climbers: While the Polar Bear basically confirmed them, we don't know if there any changes in how they work.
6. Meta Knight: Changes to gliding mechanic and possible nerfs make him interesting to me!
7. Ness/Falco: Similar to the Lucas case, but not many people fear for any of these.
8. Jigglypuff: Also some controversy with a possible cut.
9: Mr. G&W/Wario: Basically confirmed and probably not many changes.
10. R.O.B.: For reasons I don't fully understand he seems to be very unpopular.

Dr. Mario would, at most, be an alt and the rest are definitely gone, so I don't rank them!

What if for download play it limited the people who download to only using their mii's? They would still have some variety in that they could pick from the 3 different types and then select their specials but they would be unable to play with any of the rest of the roster?

I personally feel that a thing they could do that would be neat to me is if for either download play or a demo, you could only play as the original cast of the n64 smash (If Ness and Jigglypuff are back, which I don't see why they wouldn't be)

Man i cant wait for smash, i have one questiong tough guys, sorry if its offtopic or smth, but since its pretty late and the thread is slow i guess ill ask here.

What do you guys think about the smash controller? Any info if its going to work as a pro controller, i guess not? Will it be only usable on smash/gamecube VC someday?

So far i think the gamecube controller adapter is only announced for working with smash. Nothing else at all yet

All they said was "Hey guys we're making a gamecube controller adapter for the wiiu", and all we know is that the only game to support it atm is Smash, but it might not be! The controller is probably just going to function like your everyday gc controller, which is a-ok with me

Also, just wanted to throw this out there .......

10 weeks or 68 days left Til smash for 3DS releases!

(Or 7 weeks or 48 days for the Japanese release :P)

Went to the Nintendo Lounge near the Comic-Con earlier today, and played my heart out in Smash, both 3DS and Wii U (among other demos, like Hyrule Warriors).
And got a t-shirt to go.
It just made waiting for the 3DS version, let alone both, that much harder. T_T

Do we know if Melee's Adventure Mode is coming back in lieu of Subspace Emissary? I actually liked Melee's a lot, since it was short, sweet, and had levels actually based on Nintendo properties.

Impressions please.

Overall, the 3DS version's controls took some getting used to. It can be little hard to do smash attacks when you're using the Circle-Pad, grabbing with the L shoulder button, and guarding with the R shoulder button, especially with big hands. After that, it's pretty good.

The NL staff provided Gamecube Controllers for all of the Wii U demo kiosks; still the best option, which the Pro Controller second and the Gamepad last.

Character impressions might already been provided since Best Buy's E3 Smash Fest, but one interesting thing I noticed, that might already been known, was Villager's B-Down. After planting and growing a tree, you can use his axe until the tree is destroyed. The axe deals 14% damage when hit.

I just realized we haven't seen any sign of the stage builder so far, which is a bit disheartening. While it had a really limited implementation in Brawl, with a lot more options, the ability to create your own backgrounds/tiles (3DS/Wii U both have the capability to let you draw or use photos) and share levels via Miiverse (I'm guessing they'd have to get 'approved' first, or custom tiles will only be share-able with friends?) it could be amazing.

Alex Kidd as a second SEGA Rep. When he loses at Janken his clothes fall off like in the original version of Enchanted Castle.

Cool. Thanks. If they allow control customization, I'm sure the 3DS version will be easier to manage.
