That WOW video was surprisingly entertaining, although I have never played WOW so that might have added to the interest. I am glad they are limiting it to 4 episodes over a month though, I am not sure it has the legs for any more. Might be more interesting if it is Dan and another crew member each episode. The last one should be Rorie and all his high level shit.
 
It would've been neat if GB West recorded their own Velvet Sundown Quick Look at the same time they were playing with East. Would've been interesting to see the story from different perspectives.

Yeah just not a fan of having to use my phone to use chromecast otherwise I'd get one.

Yeah it's unfortunate that the Boxee app was really the most complete. Although none of them (maybe the Video buddy one i haven't used it) allows you to search old ones. I tend to use Plex + YouTube for old QLs.

There is a point where the term "tryhard" comes into play.

On the topic of favorite QLs, mine is probably the back to back QLs of Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It was full crew and the part of the game with the dude in the #CHAN hat was hilarious.

I kind of wish some parts of the Velvet Sundown QL hadn't been spoiled, but instead

Yeah, the one Vinny did as a Premium video, and the QL. It would've been cool if they did this as a two-part QL, with the SF perspective in the other QL. But oh well, the best thing about the QL was not knowing who was who and that would've been lost in a second video.

edit: lol, 50% ain't bad. By the end I was feeling pretty confident about Linda.
mostly because Drew tends to start sentences with HEY GUYS :D
 
Blue Estate is what my mind imagined Red Steel would be like based on those bullshots ubisoft released pre-wii.

Edit: hah, just got to where they talk about red steel. I'm not the only one who made that connection!
 
Was not expecting that twist at the end of the first round of Velvet Sundown in the Quick Look. Gonna have to go back and watch it again with that knowledge, heh.
 
Oh that's a bummer. I bought a premium sub thinking that the WoW feature was going to be a daily thing. Nope, 1 a week. Subscription cancelled again. Giant Bomb is getting more and more disappointing. They need a new daily feature/endurance run if they want my money again.

Thanks bros, makes it that much better. I can't wait to play the new scenario, shit looks crazy! I hope they talk about it on the bombcast too, would've loved to hear the others' reactions.

If a daily feature is required for you to sub, that's certainly fair enough, but why did you subscribe when they did do daily features?? Those videos didn't require a sub to watch.
 
The current free weekly scenario on Velvet Sundown has changed to the second one in the QL.

I started as Ingmar (and secretly Alex's bodyguard, carrying a taser to keep him safe from attack), told everyone drug stories, and then when I met Alex, prodded him to tell me if he was involved in any illegal hijinks, and the second he said "No, my Dad always keeps his eye on me" I immediately tased him and shouted "YEAH THAT'S RIGHT HE IS" and logged off
