Yeah, that's definitely the best thing about Dan. He's always super psyched about games. Jeff's cynicism and jadedness was wearing me out.

I like when that's couple with Jeff relating to whatever Dan is talking about. When he said he personally would have used the shoebox lid or maybe just paper towels I burst out laughing.

Even if they weren't at the time all you'd have to do to tip the scales is to let Dan know on Twitter that it needs to happen and he'll pull through.

I think they'll do it, though I don't know if they'll do 50 more turns. Dan was right, a long game allows strange alliances & rivalries to form, plus insane comebacks. But there were moments where all of them had clear doubts about how entertaining the game was to watch.

Maybe my favorite moment in the history of Giant Bomb video content. This frame captures exactly how emotionally invested they all were in a supposedly terrible game. Thank you, Dan, for making them all do this.

God! That tooth story from Dan. Yikes! When he as 25, he shattered a molar eating a sunflower seed, and because he didn't have insurance, he went to a place where dental students could work on it much cheaper. He does not like anesthesia, so he did not have the laughing gas (seriously!). The dental students screwed up and they had to cut into his gums to get the fragments out (still without anesthesia). The also hit him on the head with an x-ray machine. Poor guy!
