MS got a platform to sell which isn't Steam... the whole point of having exclusives is to get people to buy your platform. The argument of people who wouldn't buy an XB1 is probably not nearly as significant as the people who could be tempted if they didn't port.

Halo is their biggest franchise, resources and time better spent on new games

And it would still mean cash.
Obviously the target is selling consoles, that isn't gonna happen with a remaster alone though, they could easily attract players with the collection who might think it's worth to think about an X1 to get Halo 5.

That doesn't involve some pc elitists, but alot of players who use more than one platform, myself included.

And we know that ports aren't using that much resources, especially with so many small developers out there who're porting games over...

“He [Schneiderlin] is not leaving for any money,” Krueger says.

Tottenham are believed to have infuriated Southampton with an offer of £10m for the France midfielder but Krueger said it is “not relevant any more”. Even if Tottenham were to threaten Schneiderlin’s market value, which Saints believe is roughly three times that figure, it would not matter, according to Krueger. Nor does he seem remotely worried about the possibility that he could end up eating his words, what with football and the transfer window

The bottom line is that Krueger is now looking forward, to what Southampton have and will get over the final weeks of the window and, also, to Schneiderlin’s psychological rehabilitation. He is said to have reapplied himself in training. He is, fundamentally, a decent bloke.being as they are.

USHOOOOOOOOOOO. 10m.

rodgers really wanted lallana, he was a top target and I trust his observations much more than mine.

Does Rodgers have an eye for talent? I think he's a great manager, but I don't know how good a scout he is for what aspires to be a world-class club. I'm not saying he's bad at it, just that I don't yet know.

Edit: Personally, I like the American sports model of keeping personnel and on-field management largely separate. Wonder if Liverpool are operating more that way under FSG, anyway.

Preparing, considering - these aren't buzz words.

Would be a stunning signing for us, though.

The Vidal story is dead. RIP in pieces.
"Sky Italia confirms that Vidal is thinking to leave Juventus, sources close to the player reported it, he is planning to leave Juventus."

Not having a go at you here, and I understand why people invested in a platform would want it to be as successful as possible, but it really annoys me when people are against PC ports.

There's no better way of preserving a game for future generations than putting it on PC.

Liverpool do very much have a model like that, though it is reported that Rodgers has a bit more control than in past windows now.

Lallana was most likely approved by the entire transfer committee before the transfer took place. It has been suggested that the Moreno deal is one being done mostly due to Rodgers, but I doubt that was the case with Lallana.

What is the deal with this transfer committee?

Are Aspas/Moses/Cissoko (etc) not Rodgers' signings?

Who really knows?

In practice people just like to use the committee as a scapegoat for any failed transfers, but no one has any idea who approves what. Given that when Rodgers was appointed he fought hard against having a DoF above him, I find it hard to believe that the committee was just going over his head and he didn't approve of certain signings.

In any case, chances are every big club has a similar situation in place, with Chief executives, managers and scouts gathering together to discuss and arrange signings. Only difference with Liverpool is that it is more publicised, and the scouts part also contains statisticians, unsurprising given FSG's moneyball history.

At Arsenal if a signing is made we all know who it came down to. Arsene has complete control.

Levy always does this, all clubs do this. The first bid is always to unsettle the player, like when Chelsea offered us £22m for Modric. Once the player is ready to force his way out, you can start making serious bids.

Levy will wait until Southampton have signed some players, maybe even played their first couple of games, and then make serious offer which will be accepted and the player will be sold. Exactly like what we did with Bale, we waited until we'd made enough signings for the fans to accept the sale. If Scheiderlin wants to leave as badly as it seems, then we will make a decent offer, one that we know will be accepted. It's not like this is unusual for Spurs, we always leave major signings until late in the window.

i would say he's a very astute observer and an excellent player coach. he seems to have a great understanding of a player's nature and potential. starting sterling every week despite his awful run of form in the early part of last season was a great example of that. him harping on about the mentality of players and avoiding anyone who doesn't seem devoted to the cause.

i think you can quite confidently predict that at least one of these incoming players won't come off. but i'm excited to see rodgers nab some top targets without any concessions, compromises or transfer committee nonsense

i think assaidi was. you can kind of tell if he doesn't fancy a player at all, they got dropped from the face of the earth. i think you're right though, in the past they were likely a micture of many factors. but he's definitely has been granted more control after last years success. too many reports saying the same thing for it not to be a least bit true.

It is in this post. OP please replace the old code with this one!
Thanks buddy!

Kruger seems like a great guy with all the best intentions but he should quit with these big statements.

Also 10m :lol

As long as he sticks to his word, and I think he will do, then it puts him in a good position.

But I don't know why he said "we've received prices that were above expectations". That was dumb.

Trying to act as if we got the very best deal possible. Pretty standard i guess.

Schneiderlin may still go tbh. We'll be pretty stacked in midfield after Taider.

Arsenal scrambling for a center-back I'm pretty sure City won't give us Nastasic. Chambers isn't ready for 3rd choice yet. That's too much pressure on him.

Chambers is going to be too busy being our full time holding midfielder to be our third choice CB unfortunately

And then you get a Moutinho.

Dean says nothing to worry about. So it's all good.

How are we scrambling?

What evidence is there of that?

We haven't even sold our third choice center back yet.

I thought that was Jack?

Too much pressure? MEH. Chambers is class and can handle pressure. If Ramsey and Wilshere handled pressure at 19 so can Chambers.

Chambers very mature for his age. You going to eat your words.

Lightning mate he's never played a full game for your club and has less than 25 premier league appearances

Never played European Football. How are you so assured about him at this stage I'll never know. Edit: Wedward'd
