The fact that they made a duplicate Mother Brain AI.

Also it's the laziest anagram of "Mother" ever.

Didn't Sakamoto say the entire Metroid Prime Trilogy was non-canon?

Nope. Full canon and it retconed the Prime games.

We all wish, but unfortunately that's not how it is. It directly follows on from Super Metroid, and leads in to Fusion. There's no excuse for how it turned out.
 
It should have been an alternate universe. Other M has the exact same plot line as Fusion, to the point that Samus should have been immediately aware of what was going in Fusion instead of being shocked.

It's like he didn't even look back to read what he even wrote for Fusion when he wrote Other M. Don't even get me started on the fact that Other M practically throws the Chozo out the window.

At this point I ignore what some developers say. Sakamoto nope. Beginning to ignore Aonuma as well.
At least Sakurai is funny when he trolls on occasion. When Aonuma does it, it hurts.

Aonuma has to deal with arguably the most divided (in number of divisions especially) fanbase for video games that exists

Everyone has their own opinion on what Zelda is

I think he has a right to troll us sometimes

I will probably shed actual tears if they do an intro for Smash 4 on the same level as Melee's but with all the new characters we've since been introduced to. I am not afraid to admit what a blubbering emotional fanboy I am.

Melee's intro still kind of gives me chills. It's the perfect introduction for a game like that.

You can't say that there's no relation here; it's probably best to think of them as being in parallel in this world.

It's like Return to Dreamland, it's more of the same, slightly watered down for the sake of portability. It's GOOD but I didn't get the same enjoyment out of Return to Dreamland. It has a big problem where most of its bosses just sit around in the background firing off attacks where you can't hit them and it makes things really tedious at times. The Hypernova gimmick is pretty good, some of the later stages drag on a little, the new abilities feel kind of weak and uninspired. But it's gorgeous, cute and fun, it's still great Kirby, but it's just a little weaker than RTD.

I can't speak for everyone but it's in my top 3 Kirby games of all time. Maybe it's a bit short, being a 3DS game, but I had a blast for just about every second I played it.

And as you probably already know the final boss stage/theme/battle is amazing even by Kirby standards. Here's to Smash 4 representation!

Solid game, nice Final Boss

Could have been longer and had a few more elaborate levels, though. It felt simplistic even by Kirby standards.

Aonuma was walking around and said he was surprised when he heard how many people thought the character in the trailer was a girl but he wouldn't respond as to who the character actually was and acted all mysterious and secretive. At that point Internet gonna Internet and speculation was rampant. We got female Link or its actually Zelda or its a new character altogether. A couple of thread arguments happened here on gaf.
Probably a day later, an interview with him came out saying that that character in the trailer was Link and that what happened the day before was essentially a misunderstanding.

Aonuma when questioned about the gender of Link jokingly said "who said that was Link?" And then laughs afterwards. The story gets told missing the joking manner until everyone takes as what he said literally. Then a few days later in another interview he says that Link is a boy and was the person featured in the trailer. It wasn't really trolling. Sakurai trolls but I think Aonuma is afraid to troll the Zelda fanbase.

Am I just seeing things? I hope my account ain't borked since Miiverse is like my second life. I don't think none of my other posts have off pictures. I never even took a picture of that scene. :(
