Sometimes you come across an interview with someone and usually it's both parties at work that make this happen, but you hear a truly raw ass interview that's some REAL SHIT and it touches your heart, or your life.

Recently I listened to Steve Austin (he hosts a podcast) with MMA fighter and ex-WWE wrestler Ken Shamrock and it was one of those raw-ass interviews - found here at http://podcastone.com/Steve-Austin-Show-Clean?showAllEpisodes=true

Anything leave you shook? Hell of an interview. Hell of a story.

What about the Ken Shamrock interview had you legit shook? In an hour and a half long so I wanna make sure it's worth .Gqueb.'s time.

Angry Joe interviewing Major Nelson back in E3 2013 when all the drama over Xbox One's DRM left me legit shook. Ended up getting an Xbox One once the 180's happened, but god damn that interview turned me off the MS brand so much.

Barbara Lee (American Hero) on Radiolab (show). Not a straight up interview, Radiolab talks over her and stuff. She comes in directly about ~6:30 in. I'm not big on Radiolab but this one is the one.

Barbara Lee is literally the only person who voted against The Authorization for Use of Military Force on September 14, 2001. She voted Nay on specific concerns that the language was too open-ended, with shades of Vietnam.

Well it mustn't have turned you off that much if you still bought one four months after launch...

Well I was a pretty hardcore MS user back then. I used WP, Surface, W8, and Xbox.

I ended up only getting one because I didn't want a PS4 and wanted to play third party games (mainly a Nintendo gamer). The exclusives were better imo and there was no crazy DRM anymore. I ended up going moving over to Android and a Chromebook.

Are we still trying to make "legit shook" happen?

Warren Zevon on David Letterman.

"Enjoy every sandwich."

Still? Legit Shook happened and is part of the lexicon, brother.

Mick Betancourt on The Crabfeast podcast or The Mental Illness Happy Hour podcast.

He tells the story of his childhood in Chicago. It's painful yet dude is such a good comedian that he gets you to laugh at his pain.

That Shamrock interview is definitely up there though!

When I was a kid, and this isn't a joke, I interviewed a hobo at McDonalds during a school trip who transitioned from saying that he was walking across the country, to showing me self-inflicted holes in his hands and feet, telling me a girl tried to rape him in a tent in the woods, and that he was the re-incarnation of Jesus Christ.

That left me legit shook.

I haven't seen any interviews like what the topic is really talking about, though, but I plan to look through the ones in the topic to see if any leave me legit shook.

Actually, I take it back. A few interviews VICE has done have left me legit shook.

Why is your thread so assy. :p

Carlos Mencia? For real?

hell yes. there's two interviews - the first is just Marc and Carlos having a regular chat, Carlos seems like a pretty ok dude.

then there's the follow up interview.

Marc felt that something weird was going on so he ended up talking to some people who knew Carlos Mencia closely, who tell him that Carlos is full of shit, so he gets him back to his garage to do a second interview where he calls him on all his bullshit and meltdowns ensue. its a really really great podcast.

No shit. I'll need to hear this then. That sounds pretty amazing.

This is probably one of the best interviews I've heard anywhere about the entertainment industry as a whole. The anecdotes about Lou Pearlman are nuts.

It's a great interview. I was shocked he spoke so openly about Pearlman as really no one else directly involved has ever been so candid about the abuse/molestation that went on with Pearlman.Very heartbreaking.

I was sad to hear when Rich passed away.
