In FIFA career mode can't you just outplay the AI every game anyway? How big a difference do the players actually make?

RVP refused to take a pic with kids, fight/row, shouting, etc etc.
Demichelis' contract is up this year and if we keep him instead that'd bum me out.. but I wouldn't be surprised.Neither is Young or Shaw (Valencia isn't either, but he is more fit for the position), but that won't stop LVG.

Firstly im Bristol City, Secondary this is on the highest difficulty and here are some stats ive personally kept.
The AI will score from 80% of its shots in League one and the Championship, it also had a pass accuracy of 85%+
In the premier league the pass accuracy is currently averaging 98%, meaning that when the ai gets the ball, it doesnt give it away. You may think "Well tackle them" which is a noble thought, but it doesnt exactly give you a chance. I have played 10 games in the premier league, conceded 15 goals and the CPU has shot, wait for it, 16 times. The ai has one shot a game usually, or two, it is incredibly difficult to stop this.
The CPU also does the following, if it goes a goal ahead it will pass it around its back four, not allowing you into the game. It will also sit 10 back constantly and play permanently on the counter attack, meaning that there is no space in behind them, you literally have to play triangles and hope for a decent run.

Can I get some reasoning, I apologize that I haven't been keeping up with the thread. I just chose Drog cause he was cheap and can definitely score some goals. Will he just not be getting enough playing time?

He won't get enough playing time and will hardly ever play a full start in PL games.
There are plenty of beater options. Like Bojan for Stoke.
This is why you play on World Class and not Legendary.
I noticed a lot of people in the FPL subreddit also have Bojan. Is he really going to be getting that much playing time at Stoke? I'm just worried about Stoke's attacking threat, havent been keeping up so not sure what changes theyve made over the summer. They seem to rely on long balls a ton.
He has scored a few times in the preseason for them so I am tempted to add him. Stoke's style has changed to be less long ball oriented since Hughes took over.

I thought about going for Riviere and then swapping Howard out for DDG and then either Evans for Ivanovic but not sure it's worth the gamble on Riviere making an impact this season.
