The only reason this could happen is because he wants to play one more season of CL at a club with history. I think it would be more appealing to play for Ajax than for QPR for starters. But yeah, he must really want that because he's going to make very little money compared to what he's used to.

He'll probably end up in the US, Turkey or Quatar. Some place where he can make massive money

Solid team. Delph is primed for a true breakout, though tbh it's hard to say whether that will translate to points. Could do though, he has the potential to score more goals.

Anyway, I'd say take out Cech, Courtois is Chelsea's #1 next season and costs the same. Szczesny (joint top clean sheets last season), De Gea (United will probably be more defensive this season; 2nd best keeper in the league) or Howard (ranked #1 in FPL) would leave you with £0.5 left for a good Vermaelen replacement like Distin. Or you can go with Joel Ward for £5m and stick with Courtois, the best keeper behind the best defence.

It's way too high. I'd been happy with 8-10m. Player wanted out, last year in contract, horror run of injuries, hasn't played much footy.

Song's price was good too but that was on the back of him having his best ever season for us. Vermaelen situation very different from that.
