Well, I'm sure there will be one but they're just using a different picture everyday I think so it doesn't mean much.

Personally, I have low expectations for the event. I hope its not just a retread of their E3 conference with some Quantum Break at the end but when was the last time MS kept the ship this tight? The price drop announcement was a potential leak, but nothing about games so far... who knows.

Just give me some great QB gameplay, a Halo 5 beta trailer and a Conker reveal. I will be more than satisfied.

Jokes aside, Phil Spencer tends to tweet a little too much or talk a little too much when it comes to teasing upcoming announcements. Coupled with the leaks which kind of go all the way till 2016, it's kinda strange for MS atm.

I can see them giving the start date of EA access( probably immediately). Some dates for happy wars, warframe, ori and the beta dates for evolved and fable. I'm not expecting any blockbuster new game announcements.

I think we will see a Rare announcement of some kind, and one of the games announced with CGI at E3 (Crackdown, Phantom Dust, Scalebound...am I missing anything?) will have gameplay shown.

Oh, and I'd imagine there is a Gears teaser along with a bit of Halo 5 beta hype.

ntkrnl did say there was plenty of other stuff coming. Ori showed MS seemingly are announcing titles (downloadable) about 6 months before release? So if they had anything for the first half of 2015 Gamescom would seem like a decent place to announce them from a time perspective...

Im hoping we see Twisted Pixel's new game but perhaps they have some surprises for us which would be nice

I don't think we'll see anything for Gears. Everyone already knows it is in development, showing off a teaser won't really do much unless they have gameplay. I think it's way too early for that.

That is true... You have to think at some point they will do something along those lines just to get people talking about it.

Ubisoft put out a trailer for Gamescom and it says that there will be The Division Xbox one gamplay there.

Did they announce exclusive content or a beta at E3?

I'm just hoping for Halo5 beta details/gameplay, QB gameplay. Maybe a new Rare title. I wish we could get some Scalebound gameplay but I imagine that'll be at TGS. I would like a Fable surprise beta for this week.

My predictions are:

Twisted Pixel's new project announced/shown.
More id@xbox games announced.
Halo MCC gameplay trailer shown.

Apart from that I don't expect much, I'd love to see more of Scalebound and Phantom Dust but I guess we'll probably see them at TGS.

yeah pretty much this. All running on high PC setting. Gears 1 was actually released on PC too.

People Can Fly are owned by Epic (now called Epic Poland) and are working on Fortnite so they won't be doing it.

If its outsourced it'll be to someone like Bluepoint (God of War HD collection/Titanfall 360) or even more contract work for Ruffian Games perhaps (they're porting Halo 3/4 to XB1 for MCC for those that aren't aware). Im sure they can find someone capable of doing a good job with it.

I'd honestly be surprised if we don't see some Halo 5. We'll have access to the beta in December, so this seems like a logical time to show something.

Yeah, also it is about a week too soon.

The current build is likely to roll out to the public (no more known issues present) in the next few days. Then it is usually 2 weeks before we get the info on the next update.

Eden Falls was for Lift London according to the guy who sold MS the trademark

Lionhead's new IP is an 8 man team (and hiring) but no details yet. The studio head said announcement within a year which puts E3 next year as the most obvious candidate. Fable Legends should be out by then as well
