They will start caring. Europe is a market they should take more seriously.

Correction: Europe is a market they should taken more seriously.

A bit late I think... the XB1 reveal was kind of a big "fuck you" to Europe and the ongoing release delays have done nothing to endear them to what is now a "lost cause".

Well you're right. It's a market for which they're already late to the party. I live in a country where no one cares about the Xbox One, in fact, we're the country where Sony has the biggest advantage over the competition (Portugal).

Everyone knows what a Playstation is but an Xbox? Hell no. Glad they're still working to bring the Xbox One here though.

Be more serious about it MS.

Gearing up for #gamescom

Phil admits he hated the game (or something like that). Also in a world we get a new Phantom Dust ... A new Brute Force will not happen. They have Gears as their 3rd person shooter.
Limiting themselves with only a third person game would be stupid. But hey, it's their call.

I would love to see a new BF but I know that will never happen.

What would be the bigger announcement: a new proper Banjo or a new Battletoads?

Personally I think Banjo would be bigger but that's because I have fond memories of playing through Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie on the N64 and never played Battletoads much.

I think Banjo has the potential to come back as an actual AAA platformer if Microsoft wanted to really invest in it.

It's hard to imagine Battletoads coming back as anything other than a downloadable title in my opinion.

Both would be awesome but a new Banjo game would probably have a much larger scope compared to a new Battletoads game.

A new Banjo will be amazing news but I think that we must keep our expectations in check. I don't expect any big announcements/reveals at GC, probably more id@xbox games and hopefully Twisted Pixel's new project.

Now you know how us Europeans feel.

Yea, I feel your guys' pain. At least MS' E3 and Nintendo's (videos) air at a reasonable time in the EU? Sony's seems to be the one that is hardest to watch (and even for me on the west coast of the U.S., I find I'm pretty burnt out by the time Sony's conference rolls around).

Scalebound is probably going to be shown at TGS.

I feel Sony tries to line up their conference close to a reasonable time for Japan.

These things give me hope that maybe one day this gen an announcement of Perfect Dark or a new Crimson skies could happen.

It will be nice to see a new PD between Halo 5 & Halo 6, let the Halo franchise breath a bit and bring a really cool with a lot of potential IP back (while at the same time making your 1st party portfolio even richer) can only be a good thing. The question is who will be the developer? Rare or 343i? either way I'd love to see new PD and Crimson Skies games.

Battletoads could come back as a game in the vein of God Hand, which would be beyond amazing!

...for a select few. Banjo probably has more mainstream appeal, but it all depends on how deep into niche fandom Spencer is willing to descend. Judging by the Phantom Dust reboot, I'd say quite deep, but there's gotta be the right group of people lobbying behind the scenes.

Rare announces a Rare Hub. Every two weeks Rare re-releases a Bone port of their back catalog. $0.99 per game or $15 a year to sub. First month, Battletoads and Marble Madness.

The former Free Radical/former Crytek guys would have been perfect had MS went after them. But other than that definitely Rare.
