Did well coming in for Alaba in the 2012 final when he was suspended. But the less said of that game the better. He's a good talent and only 24 years old. A lot of the problems he had was because he didn't have consistent minutes and tended to drift in and out when he was out there. The French league will be a good place for him to go.

Pretty sure the 50% clause is a compromise between a loan and a full sale. I think Bordeaux was not looking to make a loan deal.
