Gods, leave this thread for a while and you lot have let the deluded Gooners take over the thread title and thread.

You've won a couple of Mickey Mouse trophies, chaps. Calm yo tits. You're set for another fourth place finish this season anyway.

Hi, everyone else :)

Fuck off :)

Some speculation on RAWK (lol) that the player Tim Vickery mentioned on a recent BBC podcast that we are looking to brim in might be Jackson Martinez.

In theory, he would probably be a fucking boss signing, and exactly what we need. That being said, the idea of doing business with Porto over a player when they know we probably have the best part of £50m still sat there and we are in desperate need of a striker just terrifies me.

Arsenal fans acting like Chambers played like Franz Beckenbauer today.
Don't think anyone except Lightning has overrated him.

Thought he was, again, composed on the ball and in general put in a good shift to his newly adapted position. Lets not forget that he was paired with Monreal for the second half.

He hasn't even played RB for us yet.

By evidence, I mean watching the players play for Liverpool in competitive fixtures (or watching them in general) and making a comparison based on that.

From what you've said, your judgement on Moreno is based purely on reputation and the same with Manquillo, in addition to a sole friendly appearance against a poor team.

Well I've watched Johnson, Flanagan and Enrique in competitive fixtures for Liverpool and decided that I'd much rather have them over Monreal and Gibbs, who I've seen play competitively for Arsenal.

Chambers has played one friendly and one-pseudo friendly. In the latter he got skinned twice, both of which resulted in goal-scoring opportunities for the opposition. Both of which the "poor team" squandered. Manquillo didn't gift Borussia Dortmund any goal-scoring opportunities today.

Debuchy I've seen play for Newcastle and he's pungently average. Moreno I've heard has done quite well for Sevilla, hence his reputation.

There's your evidence. Agree or disagree but that's what's informing my opinion that our fullbacks are preferred to Arsenal's.

£30m+ for him, or £20m for Bony? I'd take Bony (after he scores against United of course)

oh man watching this loser on Sky News cry about Cats killing birds in his garden. He may have to sell his house, guys!

I really don't like the idea of Bony.

He's a great striker, and more than a target man, but even then I'd worry he would have similar issues to those that Lambert is having in our attack right now.

He'd also have to accept a hell of a lot less game time, since he appears not to be able to play wide, or as a deeper 10.

I'm fucking sick of cats fighting/fucking whatever they are doing in my backyard. Sounds like a human is being raped back there, but no, it's just cats. Would it be ok to shoot them?

But he hasn't, that's the thing.

He played over 20 matches for Southampton last season and was rated very highly by those who saw him. Manquillo hadn't even played a third of that for Athletico.

Gibbs was really solid last season, especially in defence, and I would have him over every single one of your FBs currently. And I'm sure most here would too. Choosing Johnson over him is just madness and makes me think you are either joking or being hyperbolic.

That 4-0 CL announcement. Bring on Madrid.

"Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the club have fielded no enquiries for defender Daniel Agger."

Guess you have to keep crying Agger, you fucking gluesniffing benchwarmer.

Your hatred of Brøndby is infectious, but, please; lay off the D.Agger.

You guys do have a splendid squad this season, Sanchez will really take your game to the next level. All you need is a proper striker now.

But you don't know how the current team will play out since the first XI didn't even play enough to gel yet.

Give it time. And yes, Suarez was scary but we still can scare teams without him.
Liverpool are still a strong team ofcourse, but losing the 3rd best player in the world (imo) will definitely make any team less intimidating to play against.

Thanks for the link to the Boca vs. Newell's game, Elch. Will subscribe to the channel. Do they stream live games regularly?

Someone started talking to me on the tube asking for directions to Wembley. Said he was from Cardiff but supported Arsenal and he had got hospitality tickets from his employer. He told me the last time he went to Wembley was in 1968 for the league cup final.

"That was back when I supported Leeds."

With that said, wb pulga.

Buckley to Sunderland makes sense. Good player and the Brighton links with Gustavo

Billy Sharp to Leeds is hilarious. Must be one of Danger Dave's great signings. Leeds making me laugh more than Stewart Lee

That may work to our advantage with any luck. Might mean we can draw some of the poorer managers and teams in the league into a false sense of security.

Sharps is decent mate. Leave him alone.

Buckley is a #Player.

Likes an injury though...

Welcome back Pulga.

Given the length of your absence I imagine you accomplished some truly meaningful shit. Did you get around to developing that Ebola vaccination or shall Wes ban you for another 48 hours?
