Yeah, can't believe I forgot about the biggest difference between them; Lucina is way more feminine looking than Marth.
He is pretty good looking.
I still don't believe that's a curtain but it's someone's cape.
Both Samus and ZSS are in there, but no Sheik? Pls.
What items are even left to be revealed? Paper fan? Red Koopa Shell?

I've been chronically disappointed by Golden Sun's absence from smash for so long that it doesn't even hurt anymore to look at these lies.
I'm talking about crazy fan love lol.
Even if they get redesigned, assist trophies that debuted in Brawl don't count as newcomers.

Golden Sun characters have little viability for playable I'm afraid. Especially after Dark Dawn. I say this as a big GS fan.
Oh, ok. I wasn't imagining it then. Well I'm not sure what other new items I'd even want in the game then. Maybe a long range staff from Fire Emblem.
I kinda want some other boxers from Punch Out as assist trophies. Maybe King Hippo, or Mr Sandman. Glass Joe would be quite the pick as well.
Man, before Rosalina was revealed, I didn't even give her serious thought because she seemed like a dull-as-dishwater idea.
Now as a general rule of thumb, I never dismiss any idea outright, provided it fits the general parameters of "character that appeared in a videogame on a Nintendo console." That said, there are naturally characters I just don't find myself thinking about because they don't strike me as particularly interesting. Rosalina was one such character.
But then the Direct rolled around at the end of last year. All of the sudden, we have Rosalina & Luma, zoning opponents with a secondary character she could control, using it to divide and conquer, to make delicious combo sandwiches, to edge-guard and to protect her backside.
It's amazing what Sakurai did with her, really. And I think Bill Trinen made a good case for her potential with a strong showing at SDCC.

no offense but I reaaaaaaaallly don't get it. Is it because people prefer her character (okay in my book, I guess) or because of the whole "lucas isn't completely homogenized to his source material so sakurai needs to fix that with a brand new character" thing (which is lol, imo)?

Little viability in terms of moveset or relevance? While I agree the series is a deceased husk, it doesn't mean it lacks characters who'd lend themselves well to the Smash format.

Relevance. Golden Sun characters as a whole have lots of potential as far as moveset variety is concerned.
Then again. There is Ganondorf. Who Sakurai you know...doesn't like for some reason.

The only item I really want is the parasol. It should never have been cut.
As someone who played and loved Mother 3, I just think that having Kumatora is more interesting. I'm also making the assumption that she would be less of a clone than Lucas is.
What I'm really trying to say here is Boney for Smash.
Kumatora is great and all, but part of me really wants Flint.
