Of course he is. I think we can all agree that full kits on adult looks pretty silly, but who cares... Oh yeah, people who are too fat to get into their slim fit football shirt. I don't understand people getting so upset about crocs either. Yes they are fucking ugly, but why do you care, do you have so little to care about in your life?

Wearing a football shirt with a name on is different to crocs

People who wear them are a disgrace to humanity.

The League was right, the urge to tinker around with the lineup is too much. Think I'm pretty close to being finished though. I might make some changes in midfield; especially since Sanchez is so damn expensive, and I may just use that difference to get a more 'known' quantity as a striker sub than Bojan.

what the fuck is wrong with wearing a kit with a name and number on the back SMH

Brian Messi better not see this page or he's gonna hang himself

Mangala cost £42.9m.

Sagna was given £150,000 p/w wages. Fernando £12m.

That is some outlay this season, especially considering they have yet to sell anyone.

The knockoff kits I got from SoccerTriads back in the day have patches on the sleeves. Don't really like them that much, makes the sleeve stiffer.

The only football shirt I own is a late nineties Fiorentina one which I bought because of the novelty of the Nintendo sponsorship. It has Bastituta's name on the back (I think they all did back then...).

I have worn it in non-sporting activities and didn't think it was weird.

I'll stick with €40m for Mangala because it sounds better. :) In all honesty, it could be that we paid Porto more for their shares and they will have to pay out some of this amount to the third parties, or the third parties acquired percentages of other players, etc. in lieu of receiving cash. Until there is full transparency in football like in American sports, we'll never know.

Also, Sagna was not given that. He's on £120k which is higher than Zaba -- any sort of signing on fee would be factored into this though so it's not surprising. The Mail are the only outlet who bandied about that £150k figure and they are now including "he is believed to have" received that much. Plausible deniability, innit.

City got £10.25m for Rodwell (£3m in add-ons) and £2m for Barry.

no, Javi Garcia is still a city player

Just on paper for the time being. He is going to Zenit for £12m+.

A lot of people seem to be going for Bojan in the fantasy football but his scoring record at Ajax looks poor.
I am tempted to go for Connor Wickham at 6.0 because he was scoring for fun at the end of last season with Rooney as my other main striker and Zamora on the bench. Really want to put Costa in there but you can only have 3 players from one team.
My midfield 5 is looking pretty sweet though. Hazard, Fabregas, Eriksen, Sterling and Ramsey. Although I might need to downgrade one to get a bit more quality in defence.

Sagna would've got a sizeable signing on fee. Quite a few million.

Cuadrado to Manchester United does appear to be getting ever closer. Hear his representatives are in the city #mufc

I still think we'll get Cuadrado/Vidal/Blind.

Not losing faith just yet.

Correct, this would be factored into his £120k a week figure. His actual salary is probably something like £90k or 100k (roughly parity with Zaba and Kolarov, more than Clichy) but he'll get another £20k over the course of the 3 years which equates to another £3-5m or so.

It is possible that he got the £120k a week figure with it not being inclusive of the signing on fee (it's better to report it this way for the team financially), but if he did just get a lump sum up front, then the Daily Mail are then reflecting this extra £30k per week within that figure (so again, close to £5m or so for his signing on fee). As it is, he isn't getting £150k a week -- that much is certain.

TBH I'm pretty sure I'll get rid of Sanchez for Sterling and Bojan for someone else. Any good ideas for strikers in the 7.5 range? Thinking about Remy, Campbell, etc.

Szczesny impressed yesterday. Great reach for a keeper. I think Wenger needs only one more buy go big and offer Bayern 35 million euros for Martinez. They have Rode and Badstuber is back. I'm sure they won't mind letting him go at a fair price.
