Could be a very interesting and frightening power set if played right on screen. LIke, chaos then silence then the barest of utterances followed by complete devastation.

Medusa would be awesome too; living hair that's always writhing, turning, twisting like a mind of its own. It'd be like watching someone underwater only not.

And then Thanos can wreck him a la Infinity.

If they can get her hair right, Medusa would be amazing visually.

What are the chances of them splitting up Avengers 3 into 2 parts? I mean, shit's getting kind of ridiculous in terms of material planned for A3. A2 seems more manageable since it's the same cast as A1 + 4 (?) new characters, but A3 sounds like a clusterfuck already.

Chances are pretty high, I think.

Honestly, I know some people are against splitting movies into two parts, but I think it would be badass to have Avengers 3 Part 1 at the beginning of the summer, then Avengers 3 Part 2 at the end of summer or in the fall. After building up Thanos so much, I think he'd deserve two movies.

I went over this in the last argument we had, and you just confirmed that unless it happens, you are pretty fine with continuing to be destructive to discussion.
let me get this straight: A member made a crack about Feige's dumb chess piece joke, and another member in response regurgitated the same old "they liked the script that's why" and I called out how ridiculous it is that they can't seem to settle on a script for an established female superhero (which is frankly insane when there's plenty of source material as is, plenty of talented writers at Marvel studios to make one work and an obvious demand for one to be made)

Then Bronson Lee decided to escalate things with how annoyed he is with my apparant narrative (wtf) and I have since only responded to his and now you making these complaints

Your agenda is throwing shade in any comic book film related thread until it happens, and is only destructive to discussion

beyond this being a straight up lie, I mostly talk about those issues either in my own threads about them or ones made by fellow gaffers that are centered around the issue at hand. But I guess that doesn't fit as neatly in your narrative

When did this happen, is that Apoc? Damn why are they always doing him dirty like that?

I'd be on board for that. Part 1 ends with him just murdering everyone. Part 2 is Nebula ruining everything.

Is that Apocalypse? Whenever I read his dialogue I hear it spoken in the voice of the 90s voice actor.

So hearing "mother's dresses" in a menacing voice is very alarming.

Your agenda is noble and all, but it's starting to get real irritating.

We have no idea what they have planned. I would bank on one of them being either Black Panther or Captain Marvel. The only reason we didn't get a Black Widow movie is because they liked GOTG more.

We get it, we know what you want. We don't know what they have planned beyond Dr. Strange. I'm assuming we find out next year.

You do realize that these threads exist because Marvel is telling us what they are planning?

I like the Inhumans, although I haven't read much of the more modern stuff. I just dig all of the weird groups of characters Jack Kirby had a hand in creating, like the New Gods, Eternals, Celestials and the Inhumans. Really into his style, and I'm really happy whenever I see some of that come through in the MCU. Medusa should be the main character, too, since Black Bolt doesn't talk.

The problem with that is where would Ant Man fit if he's still planned for 2015? Would he be a winter release?

This is not Marvel announcing anything. I have no interest in discussing this further in this thread. It's already been derailed enough.
yeah...by you.

and by letting Vin make that hint and now confirming it`s still in development, Marvel is getting the public aware of the property and their plans. So yeah, it`s being announced regardless of how informal it is.

I really hope that the movie has a Jack Kirby-retro feel to it.

Also with the "announced" Phase 3 films can we assume Dr. Strange, Inhumans, GotG2 and maybe Thor 3 will each feature an Infinity Stone?

Well, how many are left to reveal?

GOTG2 and Thor 3 I would automatically assume yes.

Wat. He was designed as a killing machine. You know, that whole Weapon X program? Also, that whole "I'm the best there is at what I do". Pretty sure that wasn't "making pancakes".

Yup, it's making flapjacks!

Except that Wolverine *shouldn't* be beating much of anyone. He's just a guy with claws and a healing factor. He's not some super warrior and certainly not painted as the ultimate badass like Apoc is.

Guardians 2 was announced at Comic Con.

You can't respond to me while I'm responding to you. We don't need a recursive loop.

Yet his fighting skills are just that of a human. He doesn't have super strength or speed, and he relies too heavily on his healing factor so his fighting technique is just sloppy berserker shit. No way he wins in a fight against someone like Spider-Man for instance.

I`ve been meaning to read some Inhuman stuff lately. What are widely considered the best runs

He got his ass beat by a little girl.

Shittttt yessss does this mean Vin will play Blackbolt?

I want him to have a more prominent role in Marvel and it would be awesome if he got cast as BB.

Your point was we don't know what Marvel is planning, in a thread where we know what they are planning. Your point was utterly illogical, so to speak.

Super awesome. The Inhumans have been some of my favorite Marvel characters since I was a kid.

To anyone who is looking for brushing up on their comic appearances, I strongly recommend the Eisner Award winning miniseries by Paul Jenkins & Jae Lee.
