I'm saying that it needs some sort of gimmick; something to make it interesting. A mechanic that isn't pressing L1 followed by R1 over and over again. Either that or they need to make their shooting more interesting within the mechanics that they already have. In games like Uncharted you move around a lot and mix up the gunplay with melee, which suddenly makes things way more interesting. In The Order there seems to be barely any movement at all.
Now this is some valid criticism, unlike your previous post.
And yes, i do share such thoughts.
Looks gorgeous but the werewolf angle is a huge turn off of what could've been an amazing series.
"Bu-bu-but Quantum break is even more generic", just stop it, guy gave his feelings for gameplay, which aren't that far fetched. Either way, damn good looking and first game i'm gonna get for PS4, or hell, the reason I'll get one.
i just cant get excited for this game.

Why?
I don't really understand why this trailer is changing opinions to be honest. It's just a quick cut version of everything we've seen already.
I still need like 10-15 minutes unedited before I really know what this game is. The cutscene to gameplay split is still something I'm very concerned about.
dees graffiks tho

Excellent contribution to the thread.I love third person cover shooters.
I'm kidding this looks really boring. Pass.
It has lots of things that give it a unique flavour compared to other tps. So far we've seen...
- Gritty steampunk infused London time setting and period.
- Great attention to lore and narrative.
- Third person shooting mechanics and a soft cover system with heavy emphasis on effects and dramatism.
- Diversity in weapons from the thermite rifle (change in gameplay tactics), arc cannon etc.
- Slow motion mode, or bullet time.
- Exploration, including use of binoculars etc.
- Using weapon attributes to melt obstacles in non combat scenario's (potential for puzzle use later on).
- Horror or suspense segments (lantern exploration).
- Melee combat system with branching options.
- Range of enemy types from rebels to intelligent lycans (which are hinted to come in multiple forms).
- Poignant historic figures etc playing a part (Nikola Tesla, Jack the Ripper).
- Insanely good visuals (probably the best of any game out there).
And that's all in only a very few short minutes of actual gameplay they've shown thus far.

Thank god you finally realized what type of game this is! And to think, it only took you 9 months...
All of these are awfully shallow and/or nothing new.
I don't understand, what part of my post made you think I realized what type of game this is while watching this trailer?
Good thing you got shitty DOTA to keep you occupied then.
Not even half of these are unique and the last point always depends on the current state of the console cycle.

So you just felt like coming into a thread for a game you have absolutely no interest in, to tell everyone you have no interest in it?

Not everyone is going to like every game. Maybe there's nothing wrong with the game design, and it's just not for you. The criticisms of this game have gotten rather ridiculous, particularly coming from people who haven't played it, but have played a bunch of other repetitive, copycat games. The thing is, we've actually seen very littleof this. Weapon diversity seems to be mostly cosmetic, from what we've seen so far. I haven't actually seen any tactics in play at all from all of the gameplay shown. Regardless of what weapon you're using and wht enemy you're facing it all seems to end up in the same thing. You barely even have to aim.
By slo mo mode, do you mean that mode where you completely lose control over your character and every enemy just dies? I would hardly call that gameplay. We've not seen any melee combat yet, unless by melee combat you mean the QTEs, which is probably the least interactive gameplay mechanic ever concieved.

I don't think these are gameplay related
