For serious? That's amazing.
Do you think Nicklodeon would give the the LOK and ATLL team a chance to animate the comics? Or have the creators said they do not want to?
One thing to take into mind when theorizing about Zaheer's real motives, is that he had not one, not two, but FOUR world leaders in the same place and decided to let them live or didn't even try to capture one of them.
I'm talking about battling Zuko, Tonraq, Desna and Eska. I know, they weren't exactly overpowering them THAT much (Tonraq was only taken down because he was outnumbered and out powered by P'Li, but he seemed to hold his own against Zaheer, for a time). But still, if they were really interested in brining down all world leaders, they would've at least kidnapped one of the Water Tribe chiefs, or Zuko.
Hmmm. The Red Lotus seems to be really going after Korra first and foremost. The Earth Queen's death was moved up in order to attract Korra's attention after all, even if sooner or later Zaheer was going to kill the Queen anyway.
Another thought: How popular are the Water Tribe chiefs and the Fire Lord? The Red Lotus seems to be banking on the assumption that everybody hates their leaders, but I doubt that's the case of the Southern Water Tribe and the Fire Nation, for example. And Zaheer also kind-of acknowledged that Korra herself is popular in many parts of the world, by threatening the Earth Queen with revealing to the rest of the nations that she had Korra (Amon knew this too, that the Avatar had a huge following).
So, again. Is the Red Lotus' plans to make the Avatar unpopular somehow or does he not give a damn and simply wants to cause chaos, wether that means the world being against him or not?
Even the rest of Team Entropy don't know exactly what Zaheer is planning. We really need an episode that shows why they follow Zaheer so unquestionably.

Totally random thought, but I wonder how different The Last Airbender would have been if Azula and Zuko actually got along and were friends instead of mortal enemies.

I was just wondering if Azula would have still blindly followed Ozai after Zukos banishment if they had gotten along. Would she have grown to hate Ozai because of what he did? Seems like it woud eventually snowball and change a lot of things .Very random.
They would have burned the world to the ground.
Yeah, but using that line of logic, shouldn't you argue that air and water are the same since they both share oxygen in their molecular construction?
Pull back far enough, everything is just made of molecules and atoms and so on until you get the smallest measurement of reality. Which also fits in with the show's mythos, actually. the whole "All is one" thing. But it makes the show more fully realized if you look at it from the lens of classical elements, where as if you look at it scientifically, you see a lot of inconsistancies or the characters not realizing their full potential.

Strong women can still take care of their looks. And have horrible taste in men.Why is asami always drawn with lipstick on?

How many episodes is this season supposed to last? Feels like we still dont know a lot, and lots of unresolved issues. But mostly, I'm actually really enjoying this season and I dont want it to end![]()
13 episodes in total. 3 more left, last could be a double.
EDIT: It is.
Really though, Asami is the best thing to come from M. Night's movie.
This is great http://equalistmako.tumblr.com/post/94513206260/posts-with-absolutely-no-explanation
Yep best thing out of that trainwreck of a film. I still don't even understand how they even managed to mess up the pronunciation of the names as its not like a book where people have have different views on how to pronounce the names
These are good points, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if Zaheer's "Chaos is the natural order! We must bring down all governments!" shtick is nothing more than an act to get Korra sort of unbalanced, or to get her to act in a predictable way. Given how much of a spiritual adept Zaheer is, and how badly they want to capture Korra, I think there are other plans. One thing to take into mind when theorizing about Zaheer's real motives, is that he had not one, not two, but FOUR world leaders in the same place and decided to let them live or didn't even try to capture one of them.

M. Night has said why he did that. I don't agree with it, but he does have a reason for it.
Wired.com: Whats behind the changed pronunciation of the some of the main characters names, and even the term avatar?
Shyamalan: For me, the whole point of making the adaptation was to ground it deeper in reality. So I pronounced the names as Asians would. Its just impossible to pronounce Aang the way it is used in the series. Its incorrect! I cant do it. So I just pronounced it correctly.
Wired.com: So the series dropped the ball on that one.
Shyamalan: Aang isnt Ayng, its Ahng. Iraq isnt Ee-rack, its Ee-rock. Its an opportunity. I dont have to make the film for little kids on Cartoon Network; Im making it for the world. And 85 percent of the people who are going to see this movie have probably never seen the show, and I want it to be legitimate. Im Asian. What can I do?
How did she come from the movie?Really though, Asami is the best thing to come from M. Night's movie.
How did she come from the movie?
Honestly I was never sold on Asami. I agree, she feels like she doesn't exactly fit in that group let alone that world at times.

asami is the person all of them know. she financed the team and dated mako in season one, but she has no reason to stick around the group.
I...I cannot. Can you imagine if they said Kirk or Spock wrong in the new Star Wars movies?
Am I the only one that thinks that Asami is quite the hornbat..? In the ep In Harm's Way when she spars with Korra you get quite a good look at her nice arse. Well I wouldn't kick her out lol.
Maybe I need to get out more.../
One other great thing about her is that if you end up going out with her, because of her engineer background, any homemade porn movers are going to make you look hung like a fucking horse lmfao.
Yup. I need to get out A LOT more(
