Great, just went to iTunes so I could rewatch some season 2 episodes but I had to download them from the cloud because I deleted them for storage reasons a bit ago. Only to realize Nick STILL hasn't put Book 1, 2, or 3 on iTunes!
So now I can't redownload Book 2 at all even though I paid for it.

That worked downloading to my iPad, on my desktop the cloud icon is greyed out and I can't click on it.

Cool rejuvenation trick, although the Suyin one is weird since we saw her when she was a younger and her hair wasn't that dark and she looked a bit different. IMO the best are Tenzin, the Earth Queen and Kya, in that order.
UGH, and where's that Book 4 trailer? It has to drop between today and next week, with only about two weeks left before Episode 1 is out. Part of me thinks that we'll only be getting episode 1 on October 3rd and the rest of the Book will come out after the NYCC panel con October 10th.

Really surprised Kya and Bumi never had any kids, but I guess the show can only go on so long with limited amounts of character backstories.

Yeah its surprising Nick still hasn't released a proper trailer for Book 4 yet considering we've only got about two weeks now till it starts and this is its final season so you would think they would put in a bit of effort in trying to inform people that its about to start. I still think they'll stick to the one episode a week a thing after it starts though but I wouldn't be surprised if they maybe started doing double episodes to finish it off faster somewhere down the line.
But then again this is Nick and who knows what's going on with them.
I know what you are saying, but art direction is the wrong term considering Bryan Konietzko is the art director.
Even Studio Mir in Book 1 had a brief case of a shoddy looking frame. No where near as bad as book 2 stuff of course.
Yeah I always mess up the technical terms/roles. I've just given up on saying the right things.

everyone should keep their expectations lower than korra's standards for a mate
kya traveled the world and kind of did her own thing, so i'm guessing she wouldn't want to be tied down with family. this is slightly different from toph who kind of did whatever the hell she wanted. as for bumi, he was married to the military, it seems. only tenzin was basically tasked with starting a family. he never really had a choice.
I imagine Kya being around with a lot of people and being able with her water bending health knowledge to abort.

I just wanted to say that Book 2: Beginnings parts 1&2 are quite possibly the best episodes of an animated series I've ever seen.

Then you haven't seen much animated TV.
I can totally get the hate on season 2, but there is much, MUCH worse. Stuff that would make season 2 of korra look like Shakespeare.
Granted, that stuff wouldn't be part of a beloved, established universe like TLA's.

I've seen plenty of anime, both horrible and great, but at least comparatively I wasn't disappointed as I knew what I was expecting from them while with Korra I was expecting the show to redeem itself after such a horrible finale. And for the most part in season 2 it didn't. And that disappointment is worst than a bad anime I knew would be bad from the start. So yes, my point stands.

Sorry for the sort-of necrobump, but having just watched Korra Book 1 and 2, is there a place online to watch Books 3 and 4? I was using Amazon Prime, but they are charging for the 3rd and 4th seasons. If I have to pay, I will, but I was curious.
