These 2 games were the reason I was gonna get a PS4. Not anymore. I just hope my computer can handle these.

I love my PC.
Minus Destiny( PC port WILL come) and if you find other games to be better (IMO Firefall is better than Desitny) there not even really decent reason to get a PS4 now. Down the road... maybe but Nintendo + Valve seems to be the platforms that are kicking it so far.

A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
Glad this is happening. Still, for me, it would feel "off" not playing a new Metal Gear game on something other than a PlayStation.

DS4s work on the PC. And the touchpad has more uses.
I'm the kind of guy who wants to play definitive versions of games. Any multiplatform that has a PC release has nothing but promise of being that, unless the console versions get exclusive content that PC does not, like Dead Rising 2 did.
Now, does this mean nobody will get it on PS4? Of course not.

No way will that PS3 emulator be working properly in 3 years time. I give it 5 or 6 years until games are borderline functional.

The last time I played on Steam was 2011, playing CS. I apparently played CS: Source in 1970.

Actually, only MGS 3 , 4 and PW are not in PC. MGS1 and 2 do have PC versions, they never got to steam though.
Maybe if GZ sells very well, they will bring the older games to steam, and then, maybe later they will bring the rest of the HD Collection, but I don't see this happening soon.
I also don't think they will touch MGS4 anytime soon (maybe in 202X), I feel like Kojima Productions just don't want to deal with this game anymore, it was a highly praised game, made huge success in a time when the Japanese game industry was free falling into the darkness, a game that did well in its time but that today they know it was pretty flawed, if they ever wanted to re-release it, they would probably like to change a lot of things, but they kinda can't... since it reached the status of a classic, and re-releasing the game as it was today would probably do more harm than good to their reputation. (I could foresee the front page on certain news sites = "Kojima confirmed a patriachist, MGS4 female bosses used to encourage rape fantasies" or at least "MGS4 review: 4/10")

Careful with generalizations. It's perfectly understandable that some people planning to get MGS 5 on PS4 will now opt for the PC version instead.
I'm one of them. I have a I7 4770K/GTX 770, no reason whatsoever to purchase a console multiplatform game if it's available on PC.
