Anyway, I liked masterpieces but they were kinda superfluous. I don't think I'd miss them really.

The one that comes to my mind first is the Sectonian palace from Kirby Triple Deluxe.

I'm betting the Wii U version will have either a Epic Yarn or Return to Dream Land stage.
Handheld version could really be anything, but I'm up for a surprise!

Yeah, that would probably be the best one for a 3ds stage. I'm thinking Lava Landing from Epic Yarn for a Wii U stage. If not the stage, then just give me dat glorious soundtrack

Wii U: Lor Starcutter or The Last space area in Kirby Return to Dreamland. Actually now that I think about it there might be 2 new kirby stages this time since there's been 2 newer console Kirby games unlike during Brawl times.
3DS: Probably like you said, Sectonian Palace from Tripe Deluxe or some beanstalk thing representing the game as a whole.
Still baffles me how we haven't seen any Kirby stages @_@

I'd wager that at least one new Kirby stage leans much more towards Green Greens/Dream Land than Halberd, judging by the fact that we've already heard a new version of Green Greens. I can't really imagine that song playing on a stage that's not super bright and vibrant, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Sorry, to be honest I never got into that game. I was really excited when it first got announced, and when I got to play it....I didn't really like it too much. It literally put me to sleep :/

Right? I mean as stupid as it would still be, I could maybe see a (dumb and still irrelevant) argument if he had said Sheik instead of Meta Knight. But Greninja and Meta Knight literally aren't the same even a little. There would be no Venn diagram crossover between them.
That would be even funnier than it already is if it wasn't so true and didn't hit so close to home, haha.
It's an amazing game. I was able to come up with a face button-only control scheme that worked for me, but oh my god what I wouldn't give for a Wii U GamePad-controlled, twin stick setup version of Kid Icarus: Uprising in HD.
I'm kind of thinking there has been a definitive answer, and we saw it in the Smash Direct; Ridley fans just refuse to believe the obvious conclusion to be drawn from it and Sakurai isn't necessarily aware that they will grasp onto literally anything they can to somehow conclude that Ridley is playable. I wouldn't be surprised if Sakurai had literally zero clue that the Ridley "tease" was taken as anything other than an obvious sign that he's Pyrosphere's stage hazard.
That said, it would be great if he was playable. I don't think he is, but it'd be great for Ridley fans to have all their waiting and hoping rewarded...I think.
I was thinking about this the other day, actually. I don't really think Masterpieces needs to return, but I would love it if the Chronicle (updated, of course) did.
Twin sticks set up would be lovely.

It's really simple, but the Wii Fit Trainer trailer is still near the top of my list as far as newcomer trailers go. The contrast of the "calm trainer voice" and triumphant music is just so cool... and it does such a good job convincing you in 60 seconds that she's a perfect fit for Smash.
Oh no don't get me wrong, I love the look of the game. One of the best looking Wii games imo. It's just a "boring" platformer to me. Maybe I'll go back to it again the future; I'll probably make a LTTP thread about it or something.

Worst hell. I already accepted Green Hill Zone as the only Sonic stage for the 3DS version, but no new Kirby and Donkey Kong stages for the Wii U and 3DS, respectively, because of returning stages from previous games would be terrible.
Technically it's 28.6ish for people living in NA. It comes out at 11AM EST (if it's midnight) on sept 12. 29 i guess if you round up

I'm hoping we get Fountain of Dreams in one or the other. In my mind it's easily the best Kirby level. It's visually distinct, works well for competitive play, and is from an important and recognizable location. Plus the musics good!
