Count your fingers.
Count your toes.
That's how many PotDs we have until release.
Give us the good, Sakurai. The goods.
And that's an understatement.Fuck that game.
Sorry if this is a little offtopic, but someone apparently made a fanfic about this thread https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10615955/1/SmashGaf-The-Journey-of-15-Months
Yes, it is god-awful
Today's POTD reveals to me that Smash Bros 4 has not only reached KI:U levels of customization but may surpass it as well.

AgreedThe fanfiction is better than the PotD.
A very exciting prospect for sure. Hopefully this includes the optional removal of stage bosses.
Apropos of nothing, I stumbled across this, and now I want a Super Mario 64 stage for Smash 4, however sadly unlikely that is:
ahahahah
More Cruisin' goodness
Did you hear Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at 0:42?I like this unironically.
They're really banking a lot on this Smash Run, huh? It sounds like they really want people to play it over and over and over and over.
Were trying to find SmashGAF's OP theme now?
the anime will eventually happen, just you wait!

mother of god I want that
Much as I love it, I think Mario 64 had its stage time in the sun with 64/Melee. I still dig the aesthetic direction they went in with Rainbow Ride.
I haven't. I've never played Kirby Air Ride at all. But hey, if City Trial was really that replayable then maybe Smash Run will be too. Not that it's of any concern to me, though, as I have no interest in the 3DS version. Most are excited by the core mechanics being borrowed from City Trial in Kirby Air Ride, which by itself offered a surprising amount of replayability. Have you played it?
I got to play it at Best Buy and, while it was fun, 5 minutes seemed a little long. I hope there's an option to change the time limit.Smash Run is actually super fun, and I was surprised by how much I couldn't get enough of it when I played it at E3 and SDCC. But it's true, they're REALLY pushing Smash Run... it's really noticeable.
I was seriously tempted to quickly photoshop members with aquatic avatars over a pic from 'Free!' but laziness won I'm afraid![]()

Edit:..unless that was sarcasm. It's late, my brain's fried from a month's torture of math!

Hey, remember the last time Smash tried taking mechanics from Kirby games like that?
I would say so, but I don't think you'd be very good at finishing any races.Do I count as having an "aquatic avatar"?
Oh yeah, true. Hope that carries over.Kirby Air Ride's City Trial allowed matches from 3 to 7 minutes, and I think 5 was the default.

Weekend SmashGAF is nowhere near as smooth as this jam though. Crazybus it is.

This has to be the most boring update ever, especially since its Smash Run, which without online is useless to me.
Holy shit, it's been a year since that? Sakurai, c'mon! Also, next Wednesday is the one year anniversary of the first Ridley tease. He's a coming. He will be confirmed on that day as a playable character!I am of course talking about Dark Pit.

Haha, I guess I hadn't thought of that. I guess that's why I didn't make the team. The key is to kill all of the opponents once you get to the finish line by bashing into all of them with 50,000 tons of steel, and then being given the award as the last moving member of the race!
Oh my God, WeekendGAF is truly here.
