New episode today:
Season 1: episode 6 "Occultation"

Following a warning Kelly to leave the city with Zack ahead of the spreading plague, Eph is arrested by the FBI. Eichhorst has one final job for Gus, while Setrakian realizes that the coming eclipse is the tipping point for virus infection and the beginning of the end.

Been watching the show and reading books 1&2 last week, but I must've missed something:

how the @&€%#! were all the passengers on the plane infected within seconds/a couple of minutes?
yes, they had "the mark" on their necks, but it's been stated over and over again that there was no sign of struggle. Am I really supposed to believe that The Master is that fast? we're talking about ~300 people, being stung in the neck, without anyone noticing, not even the guys in the last row of an international flight that just landed?

The bolded is the easiest part to understand about her motivations. She doesn't want her career to sink after she's associated with a murderous client. The show explained that clearly, or so I thought.

Okay, so she was scared out of her wits but managed to keep her reputation in mind, which she was supposedly protecting by covering up a murder she was blameless in? How would that even be on someone's mind when they just saw a gruesome death? I don't buy it.

They were presumably sedated by his psychic will.

I think you underestimate just how often people cover up the misdeeds of others in the real world, especially when their quality of life is on the line.

Just watched last week's episode, which I thought was the best one yet. Some of the complaints are hilarious here.

NOBODY HAS PAPERCLIPS IN THEIR POCKETS.

THAT'S SETRAKIAN? HE LOOKS 25. HE'D BE IN HIS NINETIES NOW.

I bet some of you guys are a ton of fun to watch TV shows and movies with.

Looks like I finished the last episode just in time. I completely forgot about this show last week, lol. Anyway, it was a really good watch. One of the best episodes of the season so far.

Edit: It's time!

I really feel like this show is hitting its stride, it isn't great but it is pretty solid.

But really, show your family the video instead of screaming like a crazy person.

She won't run. Everyone so far has done exactly the opposite of what they should do. Except the rat catcher guy and the old man.

Okay I change my mind, maybe this shows just bad. There's definitely a ton that's salvageable, but they need to get out of this early breakout shit as soon as possible so Eph can stop telling people what to do while refusing to explain absolutely anything.

Its pretty obvious shit will be exploding soon, first season is clearly just setting it all up.

Eph kept the phone.

That's why they used the paperclip to get the sim card out, so he wouldn't be tracked, while still keeping the video.

I'm pretty fucking sure Sam has the phone. They took it out so the phone wasn't tracked, but gave it to Sam so he could try to convince people.

In visual form the wife's stupidity angers me more than it did in the book. You divorced the guy because he cared more about his work than anything else. He tells you shit has hit the fan and you ignore him.
