Were the grindhouse style intro made by Robert Rodriguez? I'm pretty sure that was his movie trailer voice too.

The last fight was lame. Cena was on the floor crying for 90% of the fight and barely did anything. I know they are building up Brock as being a giant monster but still...

no there aint no damn but still

this is the man who destroyed Taker at WM, Cena better have gotten squashed.

Now whoever beats Brok now it will be like having the benefits of beating Taker at WM without the baggage.

Bryan winning the rumble and facing Bfrock for the title at Wrestlemania is the best thing they could want to happen for buys/subs. Another hot babyface doing that could work too I guess but I want it to be Bryan. The crowd reactions would be insane.

Cena is obviously being phased out for younger or up and coming stars. They've been riding his coat tails for too long. It got too stale, so they've tried to put over other stars like Bryan and Brock. It's too bad they didn't let Bray get over.

I really, really don't want Reigns to be the guy that conquers Brock. I know that's what they're setting up, it's pretty obvious... and he seems like a nice enough guy, doesn't seem like a prick in real life, but he's just not that interesting both inside and outside the ring (mic). That's the bottom line.

When was the last such beat down in the history of our great sport. Vader handed some down to Sting but this was another level.

Oh Big Dave says NEVER

This was unbelievable to watch. You've never seen a heel look so strong against a top face, not the Road Warriors, Brody and Hansen. Lesnar took 95% of the match and Cena took unreal punishment, one German suplex after another. If they would have done this in his first match back Lesnar would have been so much money, not that he isn't now. You really have to give Cena credit for taking so much punishment. It wasn't as much as the first match but this was far more one-sided. Lesnar F-5'd him in 30 seconds but Cena kicked. Lesnar just destroyed him with knees and German suplexes (16 released German suplexes in all). Cena did one quick comeback and hit the Attitude Adjustment for a near fall. Cena also got the STF on late, but Lesnar revesed out of Cena's finish, destroyed hiim with ground and pound and then hit the F-5 for the pin. This wasn't a classic back and forth dramatic match, but it was a very memorable match. Lesnar was made unstoppable. I think people are going to really been curious as to what happens next. Do they go with a rematch after this kind of a match?

The #1 merchandise seller in the company is being phased out.

LOL

This is what the wwe was missing, legit unstoppable badassed heels, only if they were more of them other than just Lesnar, that's what made the attitude era so great

It could work on some Rocky ish. He goes away to shoot his movie then comes back to avenge the loss.

But alas, the magic eight ball is pointing toward the Reign of Roman. Hail Cesar.

I didn't say phased out in being out to pasture. I said the company is bring up other stars to have as top faces. Cena isn't getting any younger.

I feel they are either going to give the "rub" of beating Brock to Cesaro or Bryan (after a repackaging of his overall vibe)

I think Roman will get a NoC or SS fight tho

It wasn't a great match, but it was satisfying and notable.

Actually it was. Pretty sad when the 2nd match was the highlight of the night. Be interesting to see who they have that can face Lesner until WM.. There are no big faces

If you build a new face to win the title, you also build the heel. He'll face Henry and Big Show in a 2 on 1 championship handicap match, suplex and pin both at the same time.

I agree. This would get me to subscribe to the network again.

It's seems Reigns is their plan to beat Brock at Mania but I just can't see it at this point. Having someone completely carried to a main event Mania title win just seems unreal.

Everyone is saying Brock worked safe but he looked damn stiff out there. Not NJPW stiff but stiffer than anyone else in WWE.

Hard to see where they go with here with Brock. They've built him as an unstoppable monster and I don't see anyone on the roster right now with any real credibility to take the belt off him. Roman as was proven tonight isn't ready. Rollins isn't cashing in. Cena is going to feud with Rusev. Orton is Orton. Who the hell else do they have that is ready to beat Brock.

Hope creative is ready to bring some storylines because now they don't have a full time champ to lean on. Better start building that mid and upper mid card.

Great card tonight. Made up for a shit tier Battleground and a mediocre build up to SS.

Ambrose Rollins waa match of the night. That feud is the best thing they have going right now. Both guys are main event stars in the making I just hope WWE doesn't screw it up.

That's how wrestling storylines should work. We'll all cry because we're just fans and we hate Cena, but that's telling a good story.
If Cena is going away, Lesnar should disappear mostly until Survivor Series. The dude cannot generate heat. This match had a huge reaction because it's Cena, and they just need to book Brock like they have been already. There is genuinely no one for him to fight.

Cena can come back November for his big re-match and lose again but in a better fashion, and then you're basically clear for the road to Wrestlemania. I'm actually curious how they book this. I'm tempted to think we get Brock/Cena again at Night of Champions and then Hell in a Cell where Cena finally takes it back, but would WWE try something different? Cena obviously is getting redemption at some point but it could be a long time from now. It would be terrible if they did all this just to have Cena beat him in the end though.

Just a huge waste of time. I have expectations now, but I've learnt you should never have expectations with WWE. It doesn't end well.

I've only seen four PPV's live (as on tv I mean) and this might have been the most entertaining sofar.

There weren't any kiddy skits in the middle, no bs, just straight to the fights.
I liked it very much.

8.5/10

Are you trying to say the rock needs money ? Lol

He needs to insure his future movies will do well.

If it was just a matter of money, that man wouldn't work a day of his like again and wouldn't have for the past four years. He wants to continue being successful and being the best. Can't be the best when your movies don't gross as high as they were expected to.

Can't have people thinking 2012-2013 was just a fluke for him due to being in a series of high profile movies that would've done just as well without him.

I'm still hoping for a Cesaro turnaround. It's not too late :'(

Cesaro is getting released by Hell in a Cell. They don't need him and can't risk him getting over again, possibly stealing the thunder of Samoan Jesus.

My only problem was WWE having Cena and HHH beat him. Brock should've only lost a match against The Undertaker for obvious reasons but they fact that he beat the Undertaker but didn't beat Cena in the come back nor did he beat HHH in the rematch makes me scratch my head.

I agree with you totally. If this was Brock's return match I would have lost my shit. As it stands it was a fucking boring main event for me given how he lost to Cena/HHH and had a competitive match with Punk last year. I get that some people think him breaking the streak was a big thing, however seeing how Taker could barely stand at that point of course he had to break the streak.

If the did Brock beating Cena then not fighting again until he beat Taker at Wrestlemania then we ended up with this he would be one of the best built champs in history. As it is I just don't give a shit, I don't get why Brock's suddenly immortal after he beat some old man.

Who gets the next crack at Brock? I can't even think of anyone.

Cesaro would have been the best option. But that's obviously not happening now
