It will be The Rock v. Brock at WM.

You know why?

The Rock wins and defends it against Brock after WM, then Seth cashes in.

Roman won't win until next Summerslam

As a Daniel Bryan fan.....this is money right here. It should happen.

People who are complaining that this wasn't the thousandth "lets trade 3 finishers because its summerslam" main event-theres no helping you. This match wasn't supposed to rest easy on the stomach. Its an early chapter of (if they can play it right) the biggest passing the torch moment since Austin-Michaels. I'm invested in who faces Lesnar at WM After this build, who wouldn't be? They're turning Lesnar into Prime Andre The Giant. Fuck your entertainment..

I enjoyed Ambrose/Rollins the most. I couldn't believe it, but I've now seen it. A Lumberjack match delivered. I'm hoping they get thrown in a Ladder match next.

This PPV was better than Battleground. That show sucked. They paced this a lot better. Not that much time wasted on useless backstage segments or ring promos or whatever.

An okay PPV.

Jericho/Wyatt needs to be abandoned. It's not working.

My friend who doesn't watch wrestling saw it tonight and said Reigns match was best and got to see actual wrestling while Ambrose match was a joke and was the worst match of the night.

I'm going to be honest, that was a crap match. I wanted to see an epic fight, possibly with blood. Not a lengthy squash match. What the hell was that?

Storyline over individual match. In a few months, they wanted you to remember "Brock destroyed Cena. Brock's a beast" not "Brock and Cena had a good match".

Only person that can go up against Brock again is Super-Cena.
We're going to get the match we expected tonight eventually.

I look at the WWE roster and only dudes that can match up to lesnar realistically are semi-retired.
I can only see Batista or The Rock beating him.

Ain't no Seth Rollins defeating Lesnar.
WWE just made him the heel equivalent (well shit, superceding) to Cena's face.

But what if the point is to put Brock over so his "cousin" Roman Reigns seems even more awesome at overcoming such a huge monster.

Fuck "cousin" you know the last "cousin" that did something for The Rock? Fuck him.

The Rock should save his "cousin" some years of his young life by preventing him from going against Brock Lesnar. LOL!

Yeah. The point of the Brock match was for him to destroy Cena. He's being groomed to be an insurmountable monster, running roughshod over the competition:

HHH
CM Punk
Cena
Undertaker
Mark Henry
Miz

That was pretty awesome. Cena getting just tossed around the ring was great. I have no idea who they even put up against Brock after that show.

The only legitimate person they could have used was Cesaro. But he lost on the preshow to fucking Pot Van Dam

So Lesnars just gonna be chillin because unless WWE is dumber than I thought, they can't have Bork in another match until Cena comes back and overcomes the odds.

Nothing else makes sense, and if they're booking the monster heel this long no point in fucking it up and pandering to the IWC and having him fight Bryan or someone else half his size who would die after 3 german suplexes

I have to say, I really enjoyed Summerslam (except for that bs spear win).

Top: Ambrose jumping into 20+ guys, Brock "germaning" Cena, Steph + dat Bella feud.

Flop: Jericho, boring Reigns.

I hope you all realise that Cena is going to beat Brock at some point. There is no chance he isn't getting redemption.

That's how wrestling storylines should work. We'll all cry because we're just fans and we hate Cena, but that's telling a good story.

Most satisfying, entertaining squash match of all time. Every German suplex was like a thousand angels singing the greatest melody in history.

Brock Lesnar is our new savior.

My only problem was WWE having Cena and HHH beat him. Brock should've only lost a match against The Undertaker for obvious reasons but they fact that he beat the Undertaker but didn't beat Cena in the come back nor did he beat HHH in the rematch makes me scratch my head.

next up big show i guess ... unless goldberg comes back (yeah right lol)

It worked in the 80s. I just don't see it working now. You are basically going to have your champion miss about 7 of the 8 or 9 shows a month. It's insane.

No its not, not really. You can have your champ appear all you want, but to see him wrestle, especially someone like Brock, that doesn't need to happen every Monday. Use the time to establish and push the new talent, and to let the main event feud pay off during the PPV. Boxing and MMA champs don't defend every week, and yes I know the key difference here, but you can still sell the same illusion to the fans. You pay to see the champ wrestle

I'm noticing a pattern. Cena has lost clean at 2 Summerslams in a row. In the last year they have been Cena's only 2 clean shenanigans-free losses.

We just have to rename every PPV to SummerSlam and rename RAW to Monday Night SummerSlam.

But Lesnar lost already multiple times

Did he? When?

I don't remember that. Find it on the WWE Network...for $9.99.

Seriously, he's only lost twice. Really...the only significant loss was to Cena...which he just avenged. And honestly, the first Cena/Brock match was a huge butt whooping too. They can play it up as a fluke loss.

I really, really don't want Reigns to be the guy that conquers Brock. I know that's what they're setting up, it's pretty obvious... and he seems like a nice enough guy, doesn't seem like a prick in real life, but he's just not that interesting both inside and outside the ring (mic). That's the bottom line.

Oh man. This PPV delivered on all fronts for me, aside from the predictable Nikki "swerve", and Bray vs Jericho. So glad Bray won though, so it doesn't even matter. Cena receiving the biggest pounding of his career has actually rekindled the brand for me. I did not see that coming. Holeey shit.

i'd be down for a monday night summerslam in december/january

Not a popular answer but I thought the main event was a joke. Expected Brock to win but that was BORING

That was the point of a match. squash matches by nature aren't "exciting"

This one is different because this is 12 years of CENAWINSLOL getting demolished

Fun PPV to watch live. After the show ended, the crowd sang goodbye to Cena. Outside of the Lesnar fans in my section, including myself, the were a lot of people with shocked faces and speechless. Out of the 3 Summerslam PPVs I've been to, this was the most fun.

I agree with that....

yeah, wwe screwed up at the beginning with brock

but has done a good job last year or so with him, building him up very well as unstoppable monster
